I have been going to SDS for a couple years now. The staff are always so friendly from beginning to end. They make sure I know exactly what is on my treatment plan and answering any questions I have. Plus the office plays very relaxing music and you are able to watch tv while getting your services.

Love the team! They make you feel very comfortable. Will definitely be returning.

Dr. Joy has an excellent bedside manner. My procedure was pain free. As a woman of color, she was sensitive to the needs of my young son and gave us culturally relevant counsel about his dental needs. The facility is clean and well maintained and the staff is very professional. Chrissy is a wizard at navigating the dental insurance maze. She is now our family dentist and I am very comfortable with her advice for our dental needs.

Dr. Prak and her assistant Jasmine were great, they made sure I was comfortable at all times.

This place was very friendly especially Miss Diem. She did a great job with my cleaning and making me feel comfortable. The place is clean, neat and updated. Big smiles as you walk in and good vibes all around. Would recommend!!!

Where do I begin? My first phone call with SDS Dentistry made me feel comfortable immediately. I was greeted by a lovely woman who was extremely friendly and funny. She made scheduling my appointment a breeze and only gave me more to look forward to with meeting everyone else in the office. Appointment day arrived and I, a very nervous and fearful person when having to visit a dentist, was finally put to ease with my hygienist John. John made me feel comfortable and explained everything he was doing to keep me at ease. Dr. Joy then came in and was the most personable and caring Doctor. She was not judgmental but very assuring to me regarding the work that needed to be done and the plan to get my smile back on track. With all that being said, I'm looking forward to my next visit to get the work done with no fear at all. So thankful I found this Dentistry and if you can't tell by all the good reviews then what are you waiting for? Pick that phone up and make that appointment at SDS Dentistry - you won't be disappointed.

PAINFUL & NOT WORTH IT! Rude management and unprofessional staff. Your money and mouth are better off at another dentist office. While in office, Multiple clients come back because their teeth are hurting. Had to wait over 6 months for my teeth to get done and they had me walking out with Austin Powers teeth. Some of these “dentists” need better schooling and not rip ppl off or waste their time for you play around in their mouths.

I am a person that hates the dentist, until I started coming to Smile Design Studios. The staff is amazing, very friendly, personable and informative. They are very thorough in their exams and work. Definitely a great dentist office.

One of the most dishonest dental practices in Missouri City. I scheduled an appointment for a routine cleaning as a first time patient which is covered under my insurance. I visit the dentist every 4-5 months for a cleaning despite the 6-month that is recommended and have never had an issue. Upon making the appointment, I explained to the front office that I only needed a routine cleaning with examination and nothing more to which they assured me that would be all that will provided and nothing more. When I arrived to the office, the hygienist began taking X-ray's and performed a normal oral exam. The hygienist said everything looked great including my gums. Knowing this already, he said he wanted to call the dentist to visit with me and perform another exam. When the dentist arrived, she began examining further and started asking the same routine questions, despite already answering it previously to 3 separate parties (the front staff, hygienist, and the nurse who took my blood pressure). After concluding the exam the dentist said there are no cavities, gums look great, teeth are in good shape. When I said thank you, she said unfortunately our office can only perform a deep cleaning and there be a separate charge for the cleaning which is not covered by any insurance. When I began asking why a deep cleaning is required since my teeth and gums look great per her exam, she explained that no one qualifies for a routine cleaning the first time they visit their offices and that everyone must have a deep cleaning performed regardless if its required or not. She also explained it was a directive from the business manager. Sensing this office was trying to make money off of me, I asked to speak to the business manager directly. The business manager came in and said hello today's office visit for the cleaning will be $275.00 plus an additional $75 for the x-ray's. I explained that my insurance covers routine exam as well as a routine cleaning which is what the fron

So let me start by saying I never like posting bad reviews. Today will be my first one. Today should have been my second visit to this office. I found it strange that I never received a confirmation email, text or call. My appointment would have been at 11 am and I called around 9:30 to confirm I was told I had an appointment at 11 but wait. I asked if there was a problem and was told they have the wrong phone number for me so they gave my appointment away. I responded with I didn’t give the wrong number so someone put it in the computer wrong. I don’t understand how you give away an appointment without grabbing the paperwork that I filled out to confirm phone number or send an email etc. The first time I went there I waited 2 hours in the lobby and then they wanted to reschedule me because I then told them I was running out of time. They were able to complete the appointment because I told them to and the tech and dentist were nice but the professionalism is a huge problem. Peoples time is valuable! I’m a true believer of that. When I told them I would not be returning I was wished well wishes for my future! Needless to say I will be finding a new dentist that respects my time.

The office is very welcoming and the experience is amazing. True it's a visit to the Dentist office which is stereotyped as unpleasant. I would say not at Smile Design Studios. I was offered a warm blanket, the option to catch up on my Netflix favorites and a staff that listened to my needs and ensured I was comfortable the entire visit. (Note I had major treatment done during this visit.)

Very unprofessional. These google reviews are fake. They bribe their patients to give 5 star reviews. They don’t return patients calls.

Smile Design Studios is one of best dentist practices in the Missouri City/Sugar Land area. Dr. Joy is such a caring and personable professional. I really appreciate the time & care she puts into her patients. My dental hygienist Tever was the best!! She definitely understood the assignment when it came to getting my teeth clean. I don’t what anyone else cleaning my teeth but Tever!!!

I love this place!! John is amazing he explained my ex rays and the procedures I needed. and Dr. Joy, well she’s a joy! She gave me options for my treatment plans and took the time to explain everything! It was an awesome experience.

Dr. Ellis is amazing!! She’s literally the sweetest and so knowledgeable. Just know you will be in the greatest hands with her. She will treat you like family. Full stop here! This is your new dentist!!

Today was my third and last time visiting this office. The last two times I’ve asked what my bill would be on the confirmation call only to be told it’s a significantly different amount after the services were performed. I even asked for my next appointment to be canceled after I was told my bill and I still received an appointment reminder hours later. They do good work, but attempt to take to take advantage of their customers with no remorse.
