I had a dental appt and confirmed by home but when I got there they couldn’t find anything but still took me… Was told my dental work would be $8000! This was for 3 wisdom tooth extractions and a root canal with crown. This did not include any of my fillings or even a cleaning.. I have Great insurance so my out of pocket was $500 however the man giving me the insurance said he doesn’t normally do it so he’s unsure on the codes? I was told I would get a call back and email with the official breakdown by the actual insurance person but I never did. I even called again to ask for it and was told they would send it as soon as I hung up but again never received it. They wanted to book me asap despite me not having those forms. The dentist also told me she couldn’t perform a cleaning or do any cavities or anything unless I did the wisdom teeth and root canal. l was also told I need a deeper more expensive X-ray but no information was clarified and they said they wouldn’t know until my surgery appointment? Makes no sense but ok. After reviewing the documents it shows I needed a completely removal of impacted 3 full bony (3) however all my wisdom teeth are erupted and straight? Confusing. Figured because I have an HMO and they’re getting paid regardless they charge me for as much as they can. Seems to be the norm with HMOs which sucks. Switchover from this place with another hmo accepting office and hoping they can help me. Kind of in desperate need but sucks to be told I cannot be helped unless I do all the services.

I was recently in as a driver for a friend who was seeing the oral surgeon and was able to experience about an hour of observation. Reading through some of these comments after my visit has me in complete awe. I saw a very friendly staff, one had a thick accent and was hard to understand, but her knowledge of insurance was impeccable. The other young lady was speaking Mandarin to an elderly couple, and the gentleman (manager)? I watched lift a patient , into his wheel chair and assist him in his appointment. Exactly what I need in dentistry. People who love what they do. I would give them more stars if I could, instead I booked me an appointment and left my current dentist, i will update you incase this was just a one time experience

I recently started going to Dr.Mitra. She is very thorough. Her staff is kind and friendly. Chris went over and beyond today by scraping the ice off of my car while I was being serviced!!! I highly recommend.

Dr.Partow, Dr.Baag and the dental assistant Robin are some of the best I’ve encountered in the dental field. They provided excellent compassionate patient care. Robin and Dr Partow are very gentle and easy going and are great about making you feel at ease. Only two stars due to the front desk team, and financial/insurance and office manager (Chris). The front desk are the first point of contact for patients and should be friendly and calming towards patients, instead the front office here is cold. Alexis is somewhat personable but still. I have dental insurance and still paid $1400 out of pocket for a root canal and a crown. The provider wanted me to get a deep cleaning done but I cannot even afford that due to how expensive it is, I thought that insurance would cover it at a 100%. After discussing with my insurance surprise surprise It is 100% covered. Here’s where my issue is, I work with medical insurance, granted it is somewhat different. However when I questioned the front on the cost, that’s when I got more of an attitude. When I inquired further on the CPT codes I was given and the fact that my insurance couldn’t find some, I was told that it’s an internal code that isn’t billed to insurance instead patients just pay out of pocket. I was also assured that I would get refunded for any overpayment once my insurance paid out which they did, they covered more than what this office stated they would and then they came up with a different way to charge me the $550 difference for the crown, fyi, if you get their in house crown it’s apparently an extra charge that they do not bother to notify patients of nor provide any alternatives when discussing treatment options. I’m currently having my insurance fight for me to receive my refund, and quite honestly will more than likely proceed for legal action pending the investigation. It was bad experience if I give a one star I will give it to the front desk lady only. First; I went for routine 6 month cleaning they used my insurance budget for different kinds of X-ray because they thought my insurance will end after a week since it was last week before the new year but actually my insurance end in September the next year… and Now I don’t have enough amount in my insurance budget for another X-ray if needed . Second; the doctor came and said she can’t do regular cleaning because I need deep cleaning for the bottom gum and I have to pay $350 from my own pocket . And refused to do it anything. Third; I was waiting for more than 3 hours for regular cleaning then ends up with the Doctor left and the clinic almost will close..

This place is horrible. They tried to tell me I needed over $2000 of dental work. Luckily I didn’t believe them and got a second opinion and I don’t even have a cavity. Stay away. They will lie to you just to make a profit.
