Had to get multiple molar extractions. Ngl this was the most pain free dental procedure i ever had. Congrat to dr tejas and his lovely assistant maritza, for doing an incredible job. Everyone at this office is cool… ill spare you the pictures haha

After several years of feeling terrible and having innumerable "unexplainable" different things happening in my mouth, I was referred to Dr. Teja by my primary care physician out of Houston, Texas. My primary dentist had done numerous caps and kept sending me to the endo over and over for a 3rd root canal in less than 12 months. I finally decided I had had enough. I needed answers. Dr. Teja took the time to seriously review my records, meet with me, and truly listen and search for the root of my problems. He wasn't looking to just hand over another pill or offer another root canal! Dr. Teja found abscesses missed by the last dentist! There WAS something wrong! He was so through and kind. I have a treatment plan set up and am over half way through. Please, take the time to see a dentist that doesn't see you as a number, but is actively still learning and using his practical experience to actually treat your entire body-starting with your mouth. I feel like I have my life back.

I am well pleased with Dr. Max Teja and his staff. While reviewing my dental CT image, Dr. Teja noticed a spot on my carotid artery and strongly urged me to have it checked out. That began a chain of events that led me to see a cardiologist. After several diagnostic tests, I underwent a heart catheterization procedure and the placement of a stent in one of the arteries supplying blood to my heart. I am thankful to Dr. Teja. His attention to detail may very well have saved my life. Not to mention the fact that he's a really good dentist. My wife and I are happy with the outstanding care he provides.

I loved loved loved my experience at the office today. I was extremely nervous to go in but everyone at the office made me feel so welcomed and taken care of. Veronica front/receptionist was extremely nice, caring, and was able to explain everything to me as far as billing and options for taking care of dental cost. Dr.Teja explained everything so very thoroughly to me. I’m excited, hopeful, optimistic for the dental plan he will be providing me. His dental assistant unfortunately do not have her name but her initials are AK(maybe) either way loved her and her vibe. She was so caring and explained everything she was doing. Overall experience was amazing. I recommend this office to anyone.thank you so very much for your service today.

Dr Teja and his staff are the best!! I chose San Angelo Smiles because I wanted a Holistic dentist to remove a mercury filling properly and take care of a cavity. In addition to those things, they found I had impaired mouth syndrome/sleep apnea. I’ve seen so many doctors and sleep apnea never crossed their minds. This ended up being the root cause of most of my health problems-fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue, crohn’s, and hormone imbalance. Definitely recommend!!

It is nice to have a holistic dentist in town. Before, I had to travel. The staff is very kind and Dr.Teja is a skilled man doing good work for people in need. My wisdom tooth had a cavity and he filled it. I thought it would need extracted but he showed me the tooth is still healthy. They made sure to give me focused care and scheduled me as the last patient of the day. I look forward to visiting again! Holistic dentistry is the only one you can trust to do the job well and proper with your well-being and safety in mind. I will recommend San Angelo Smiles to everyone I know who needs work done on their teeth!

Came here yesterday. Had a really bad tooth that needed to go. BTW first time having this done, didn't know what to expect. Thought it might be horrible. They took care of me here. Was a pretty tough surgical tooth extraction, as the tooth was getting brittle. I had procrastinated a long time. But Dr Teja got it done, and well. He used a P.R.F. tooth extraction trick. In this system he draws a little blood, throws it in a centrifuge (the spinny thing, sperates stuff), and puts all the good healing stuff inside the socket that's left empty from the tooth removal. It's been a little over 24 hours since at the time of writing this review. I feel pretty good. Almost zero swelling. Took two 500mg pain relief pills this morning. Just as a precaution before I left for work. Didn't really need them. Overall it was a great first experience for me. I will recommend Dr Teja to everyone I know. His assistant was great as well, she helped quell any nervousness I might have been showing at first. And the receptionist was very welcoming. As soon as I walked I already knew I was in the right spot.

Called to ask if there were free exams the receptionist was rude and laughed.I told her I knew there were places that offered free exams.Bad customer service I wouldn't go even if they did have free exams or they paid me!

These folks are simply wonderful! Very caring and thorough. Great place, I highly recommend.

I had a really good experience at Dr. Teja's office, he and his staff are amazing. I went there specifically to get the Mercury fillings removed because I wasn't sure if they were all removed by my previous dentist, so Dr. Teja told me that he will drill (explore) one tooth and see if I have Mercury still, and If I didn't he wouldn't need to drill the other 3 teeth. I think this is the kind of Dr we all need, that's sincere and makes you feel comfortable during this type of difficult procedure. Also, he is SMART certified which is so important when it comes to removes Mercury fillings in a safe way. I will recommend Dr. Teja to anyone in a heartbeat

Dr. Teja and his team are the best ! I have always dreaded going to the dentist. Dr. Teja and his team do everything they can to make you comfortable. An take the time to answer all your questions. I highly recommended making an appointment and getting the best dental care in town !

I was so nervous to get a shot and have my cavities filled but Dr. Teja and his team did an amazing job. I didn’t feel the shot or any of the things they were doing during the procedure. If I had to do it again I would with them!

Dr. Teja may be the best dentist I have ever encountered. He has done extensive dental work for me and I am very pleased with the results. He is kind and caring in the process. There was no pain of any consequence.

The NuCalm they used while I was getting my mercury removed from my molars, was extraordinary! I was so relaxed and calm through the whole experience. I highly recommend Dr. Teja.

Actually still at office with my spouse and felt compelled to leave a review. So far the experience has been excellent. The staff and doctor have been extremely caring. They have everything you need to help you feel calm and a procedure only they offer to help in healing. I will leave a follow up review when everything is done.

I love that Dr. Teja and his staff provide wholistic dentistry. As a natural health care provider and practitioner myself it is wonderful to have a like-minded colleague and provider.
