Gunnell Family Dentistry - Hyrum

DO NOT COME TO THIS OFFICE. Personnel is unprofessional. Bring your business somewhere else. They rejected to offer service due to a medical condition. I went ahead and reported them to the ADA and the dentist association. People dont follow OSHA rules. The main doctor was a joke and the hygienist a complete jerk. There are other places in Logan such Peak Dental where you can go and they will treat you with respect and dignity. The "professional" employees lack work ethic and professionalism.

I really appreciate this office and the genuine care they provide. They know my name when I walk in! I feel as if they are on my team and definitely have their priorities in good order as a health based business. I drive all the way from Salt Lake City to see this team. If I ever have any questions, problems, confusion- they are really kind and attentive.

A close relative lost his life by using the gas at the dentist and I developed pstd and could not enter a dentist office. It had been years since I had been and I was in a lot of pain. I called Dr.Gunnels office because it was close and I knew if I had to drive far I probably would end up turning around do to my anxiety about the dentist. When I was in my seat waiting the sweet nurse was talking with me and I started crying. She was so kind and understanding. When Dr.Palmer walked in my nerves immediately calmed and he was so nice and funny! I’ve had other bad experiences over the years with other dentists but not even joking I couldn’t even feel when he gave me a shot! I’ve been back A LOT in the past year trying to fix everything from not going for so long and I can say with confidence that I’m not scared anymore or nervous for my dental appointments. I would 100% recommend Dr. Palmer or anyone at Dr. Gunnels office. I can call them my friends and I feel so happy when I’m there and it’s so welcoming right when you walk in and see the receptionist-she’s awesome too just so personable. Thank you Gunnel family dentistry for helping me so much!!!

Amazing office and staff! My boys get so excited to go to the dentist every time we go! Dr Clay is amazing with my kids and the girls that work there are amazing as well! Will not go to anyone else! Thank you for being great!!

Our family loves Dr. Clay Gunnell! He always makes us feel welcome and comfortable in his office. One time he even met me on the Sunday before Spring Break when my son had a dental emergency that needed to be addressed before we left town. We appreciate Dr. Gunnell and the entire staff at Gunnell Family Dentistry.

Needed a dentist and having gone years without dental care, due to lack of insurance, I chose Gunnell Family Dentistry because the reviews were great. They also had an office really close to where I live, so that was a plus. My experience was less than ideal. I expected the whole "you need to floss and brush more" lecture, but they really laid it on thick. I was seeking care because it had been so long. Giving people that kind of lecture doesn't really inspire one to want to go back. The hygienist also flossed my mouth so rough that my mouth bled and was sore for several days. The hygienist was better with my husband, but the dentist, Dr. Palmer, didn't give him as good of a check up as I had received because he was more interested in talking about drumming than doing the exam.

Excellent service. I highly recommend it. McKenley and Charity were our hygienists, and we met with Dr. Palmer. All of them were friendly, easy to talk to, and calming. I appreciate it a lot because bedside manner in the healthcare field goes a long way to assist patients. To be frank, going to see the dentist can be intimidating, but my wife and I were very impressed and will be coming here from now on. If you're debating on bringing children here I also highly recommend it, because they take a lot of accommodations for children as well (such as televisions on the ceiling among other things). What I want to point out more than anything else is that they are very kind, professional, and efficient. I highly recommend this establishment!

I have had both Dr Gunnell and Dr Palmer work on my teeth and they are both amazing. They are both attentive and are willing to explain any process you might need. The whole staff is friendly and helpful. Dr Palmer makes the numbing process essentially unknown. Highly recommend!

I went in to Clay Gunnell family dentistry to have a tooth looked at for sensitivity. Clay said the tooth was cracked and needed a crown. The crown came and Clay went to put it on and did not like the fit. So he had the crown redone. He approved of it the 2nd time and I was very happy. I greatly appreciate Clay's attention to detail and his warm bedside manner. Clay and his staff make seeing the dentist an enjoyable experience. We all know that going to the dentist isn't the best thing you want to do with your time. The problem is that we all have to go for the most part. There is one thing that makes going to the dentist not so scary or never racking, and that is having an amazing dentist like Dr. Gunnell. Being that he's very personable and makes you feel comfortable helps makes it much easier to push yourself, and go take care of you smile. His staff was amazing as well. I can't say enough good things about this Dr. And staff. Thank you Dr Gunnell and staff.

As someone who is terrified of dentists, it’s really hard to have a five-star experience. But everyone here was so friendly and explained everything, it was a really great experience.

Brent Palmer was my dentist while in Texas. He was Absolutly the BEST dentist I have EVER had! It was the most painLESS and efficient appointment Ever! And now I'm living here, and just found that that he has now moved up here! You bet your buckets I will be traveling to Hyrum from now on for my dentist appointments!!! Gunnel Family Dentisty could Not have made a Better choice on who to add to their Family!
