EDIT: response to the dentist. My husband DID contact directly several times with literally NO response at all back. GHOSTED. Not even a "please call to verify it is you" just NO response. We have to see a ledger of payments to make sure insurance sneaky stuff isn't happening. They are possibly billing a procedure on a different insurance than it occured as well as possibly bending some of waiting period rules by doing the procedure anyway and billing it later. After we spoke with people knowledgable of this industry, they recommended we get the ledger to watch for sneaky things as you cannot do the things listed above. The bill they provided only had a total due. They are usually required to show CDT codes, date of service, what the insurance has paid and all payments to the account. Moved to one star. Something seems super off when ALL other doctors can click PRINT on the ledger in seconds while these folks are being strange about "getting the info together" but still not received after several messages. original: The dentist does a good job but sometimes that isn't enough. My husband and I left for two reasons: front desk and the dental hygienist: we felt she wasn't super thorough. Front desk staff seems to just have issues with rudeness. We got sent half a bill for a service for our son a year ago. We asked for a ledger on multiple occasions via their text and email. They have basically ghosted the response. Why would't you want to send over a ledger for us to verify charges after sending a bill for over $300 with no description on the bill just the amount due? What a headache.
