I've gone to Dr. Shaw since I was a kid, recently son chipped his tooth pretty bad, and Dr. Shaw met us on a Saturday to fix it. I hate feeling like I am putting someone else out, but both him and his assistant were very gracious and put me at ease regarding the situation. He joked with my boy a bit and had a great bed side manner. I really appreciate them taking time out of their Saturday so my son didn't have to go to school with 1/2 of his front tooth missing.

I don't think anyone LOVES to go to the dentist. But you can LOVE the dentist and his/her Office Staff. Dr. Shaw is not only a great dentist; he is also very kind and caring. He is very engaged and never makes you feel like "another patient" or a "dollar sign". I had a dental procedure that was just not very much fun. Dr. Shaw took time to explain everything and continued to check with me through the procedure making sure I was ok. I knew I liked Dr. Shaw, but when he called me today (his day off) to check on me, I realized he is a rare breed. I must also mention the fabulous staff in his office. I have interacted with everyone one way or another and they are all absolutely great. Professional and fun can be a delicate balance, but they have it down. I definitely recommend Dr. Shaw for anyone, young or old. P.S He is Mom approved - well, at least my mom.
