Everyone at Maughan Dentistry was so nice to me! They were also very good at letting me know my status while in the office. They told me when I would be taken back soon, they let me know if I would need to wait for something, and they answered all my questions. Dr. Kenny Maughan (the son, I think) was also super personable despite only seeing him for a few minutes. He and all his assistants/dental hygienist (whose names I don’t remember unfortunately) were very helpful. I would recommend Maughan Dentistry 10/10

Dr. Kenneth Maughan, Jr. recommended two crowns. The crowns would have cost me $659.58 and cost my insurance $813.76, or a total of $1,473.34. Another dentist examined the teeth thoroughly and recommended that no procedures take place, and that those two teeth should still last a long time. That saved both me and my insurance a lot of money.I recommend avoiding this dentist. He also did unnecessary dental work on my spouse and on me in the past. Find an honest dentist instead, and you will do a lot to preserve your teeth and your health, and your money. Although very polite and minimal wait times, that doesn't make up for wanting to permanently damage teeth and charge $1,475 for unnecessary work. I need to find a different dentist! Further, the hygienist didn't polish my teeth, and another dentist felt that my teeth still needed additional cleaning. Dr. Maughan also did another unnecessary crown for me a couple years earlier. The review is accurate, although the name associated with my review is the name I've used for a google account. Rather than dispute with a dentist, our family decided to patronize another dentist instead. With the experiences we've had, I think readers will understand why.
