Bloomington Dental— Chris A. Neilson DDS

I am very nervous going to the dentist because of less than good results in my much younger years. Every one is friendly at Bloomington Dental and so far my experiences have been great!! 👍

Dishonest people and trying to rip you off. Go to a better dental office with better management. They require payment upfront and then want to refund you the money suppossedly after the insurance pays. My daughter had about 8 teeth worked on a month ago and charged us $850 upfront. We had to put it on a care credit payment plan. Now I am finding out it should have only been $200 once the insurance pays. I have never had such an awful experience with the manager or front office staff. Both my wife and I tried to explain it to them and even brought in our explanation of benefits asking for a refund of the difference today. They told us there were no refunds until they got paid from our insurance. How and when do we know the office actually gets paid from our insuance. This is poor management and should be corrected. No other dental office I have used has ever done anything the way they do it. The dentist was great when we saw him, and the hygienist did a great cleaning, but because of this experience, we are finding a new dentist. I would recommend everyone else do the same!!!

Going to the dentist is not always top of the list of anyone’s an enjoyable visit but every time I visit Bloomington Dental the staff and Dr Nielsen always make me feel comfortable and explain my procedure in detail, allow me to be involved in every part of my treatment plan. I have trusted them for over 7 years with my dental care. I highly recommend this provider!

The office staff was super friendly as was the dentist. They explained everything they were doing and wanted you to feel comfortable!!!

Update: 1/10/23 5 🌟 Dr Neilson & his staff are so nice, professional & very helpful with all of my dental questions. They have consistently been so accommodating with my TMJ. I highly recommend going to see them for all of your dental needs. My whole family goes to him. We moved here in July & haven't found any dentists or primary care doctors yet. We did get a name from our former dentist. My husband had a dental emergency & couldn't get in to see the one that was recommended to us. We searched on Google & Dr Nielson/Bl99mington Dental came with high reviews. Long story short, we are *so* happy that we found them. Everyone is just so nice & knowledgeable about our needs. I have TMJ & always dread going to get dental work, but everyone in the office were so accommodating to me needs. I would highly recommend Dr Nielson/Bloomington Dental to anyone & everyone.

Just got my teeth cleaned by hygienist Amy, she did an awesome job. She is friendly, very thorough and kind. Great Dentist office, wonderful happy helpful staff, for sure.

I love my dentist! It does seem like I’ve had to wait 15-30 minutes to get back at my last few appointments, but I can understand appointments vary and things come up! The staff is always extremely kind and personable. I always recommend them to friends and family.

Dr Nielson is caring and empathetic! A bad abscess and he was able to squeeze me in same day to take care of it!! Ashley at the front is always friendly and helpful!!

Bloomington Dental is outstanding 👌. Dr. Nelson is excellent, he always take the time to insure l am comfortable with the dental care being done. I have 100 percent confidence in him. The entire staff is wonderful, the always make the vist a pleasant experience. They also make sure my insurance billed correctly and keep my co-pays as low as possible. Dr Nelson is an excellent dentist! His staff is amazing, super nice also! They got me in as soon as I could get there for an emergency root canal.

It’s a good feeling know that the information given by Dr Neilsen is good. He works fast and pain free so far. I trust his work. He has helped me get through the mess I came with. I’m satisfied with the dental work done. :::l’am Real happy not just happy. Dr Neilson has made living without my bottom teeth manageable which in the beginning I thought not possible. Then after crafting me a new set of teeth. Well , I really believe I can resume eating as I once did. Don’t get wrong here nothing is better than the real teeth . The set of teeth he crafted adjusted to fit are better than I thought possible. Dr Neilson And Staff give me the confidence I needed to stick with a treatment plan to end. If you need some personal advice on which route to take with your dental issues. Dr Neilson is your guy.
