I am so grateful for these two Dr.'s! Dr. Shiner and Corbyn take great care of our teeth on a regular basis. If I don't want a procedure, they honor that without any negativity. Dr. Kahn is an outstanding physician! I was in a longboarding accident and he put my face back together: 9 stitches in my lip and 3 root canals to save my teeth. I've received compliments from other Dentists about the quality of my root canals and many other compliments from people about how good my lip looks. Forever grateful that he happened to be in the office the day I came stumbling in, bleeding and broken! He even called the ER and told them I was coming and ordered scans to be done!! Highly recommend for specialty work... And ya, the regular stuff too.😉

New facility with state of the art equipment.  Dr. Shiner and Dr. Kahn and their staff offer premier dental care from routine cleanings and fillings to complicated endodontic work.  My wife and I have received dental care all across the country and we consider Advanced Dental to be at the top of our list.

I’ve needed several root canals and crowns recently. I am thankful that I can receive those services right here in Vernal without making numerous trips to the Wasatch Front. Both Dr. Kahn and Dr. Shiner are highly skilled and experienced medical professionals. They and their entire staff always treated me with skill and compassion. However much time and care I needed is what I received. They were always attentive and I never felt ignored. Even after I went home I would receive follow up phone calls from the staff or from Dr. Kahn to see how I was doing. Vernal is extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful dental office and I would recommend their services to everyone.

Corbin was amazing durring my appointment, and really helped me. It had been multiple years since I have visited a dentist. Just before my second appointment I had a family emergency out of town and she was really understanding and helped reschedule for another day! Dr. Shiner was so nice, and explained what I needed to do for future care of my teeth

I had a infected root in my #31 tooth and Dr Shiner and Dr Khan said we will have to do two root canals on #31 first and then #30 and then do minor surgery to lower my gum/bone line to prevent tooth decay after crowns are placed. Well after 2 months of the infection that kept coming back Dr Khan was being very patient with me because to say the least my roots looked like a Indy car track not at all an easy root canal for him. He operated three times and I had three more visits before he was satisfied that the infection was gone and he charge the same no added costs for Indy car race track roots. That's a patient and good Doctor. And then on the next visit for #30 he diagnosis's my tooth to have plenty life in the roots and didn't proceed with the root canal just for my money. He returned the money for the 2nd root canal. Then he did a great and very painless surgery on lower my gum and bone line to prevent future tooth problems after the crowns. After his work was done Dr Shiner took over with his expertise on crowns. He did a fantastic job as always. As a business owner myself that cares about doing my work right the first time these two make a excellent team. Also their assistances did a very good job taking care of me and making sure I was good. My family and I have went to Advanced Dental for 8yrs and have went to plenty of other dentists and to say the least they are the best in town. No BS just dentistry at its finest. Thanks Guys

Dr. Shiner and Dr. Khan provide excellent services. I've had extensive dental work done at their office and have received high quality work. The assistants continuously receive training from the doctors, so they can add value to each procedure. The doctors are transparent and make sure I understand the treatment plan. The doctors and assistants keep meticulous records before, during, and after procedures. Cleanliness is a top priority in their office. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned for every patient. Doctors and assistants change gloves frequently. The assistants are amazing! They are professional and friendly and do everything they can to make me comfortable. The doctors and assistants accommodate my crazy schedule and are available outside of office hours for emergencies. A shout out to advanced dental and the great work they do. I have been to a lot of dentist through the year and they are by far the best I have ever been too. A lot of the work I’ve had done lately is because of shoty dental work in the past and dentist cutting corners to get the work done. Dr. Kahn and Dr. Shiner go above and beyond to make sure it is done right and truly care for each and everyone of their patients. They fo it RIGHT!!!& highly recommend them!!!

I must've caught Mr. Khan on a bad day, as all the reviews on him were glowing saying he was one of the kindest dentists/specialists you've met. He was not kind to me, and even suggested I was 'fat' because I was missing teeth and 'can't chew properly' which is extremely untrue as I'm not missing enough for it to even matter. The fact the consultation alone is $300 is ridiculous may I add. With that I could afford maybe a quarter of what work they wanted done on me. Shiner is, however, wonderful and I have enjoyed going to him for many years, but I'm afraid to even go back now because I cannot afford the work they wanted Khan to do, and they told me not to have the tooth pulled.

I appreciate having the specialist, Dr. Kahn in Vernal. I have had root canals, and extractions done here and have always been in good hands. My well being and successful healing has been top priority to Dr. Kahn, Dr. Shiner and their staff. It is nice to get this level of expertise locally. Thank you!

Dr. Khan and Dr. shiner at Advanced Dental are amazing. I have never in all my years came across a Dr. with a bedside manner as that of Dr. Khan. I feel truly loved and cared for. Two years ago, Dr. Khan saved my life. My autoimmune conditions were causing multiple abscesses. I had 8 abscessed teeth within a 2-month period that formed, and infection spread to every sinus cavity, I was not responding to antibiotics. My face and head swelled like a pumpkin. The infection was taking a turn for the worse. I did not have dental insurance at the time. Dr. Khan donated his time and services and performed the I&D surgery to save my life. I was sent to the infusion clinic at the hospital for IV antibiotics. Dr. Khan would call me at home and check on me. What a wonderful friend I consider him. I have been back in his offices recently. I am dealing with 3 abscesses one of which is a calcified root. I am currently in an autoimmune flare, and it can spread my infection. I've been healing on antibiotics. The tooth cracked over the weekend and will compromise the root canal and I would lose my molar to my partial plate. He wants me to have a better quality of life and is donating a root canal because our benefits are used for this year. Dr. Kahn has gone beyond all expectations. Advanced Dental and their entire staff have been a blessing to me. My heart is full of gratitude for all Dr. Khan and Advanced Dental have done for me. If you want to experience a level of care that you just do not come across anymore. I highly recommend Advanced Dental.

Dr Khan is the kindest most caring specialist in the dentistry field I’ve ever encountered. His number one focus is to be sure you save every tooth you have. During my visit out to Vernal, my son had an emergency dental need come up. After calling around I got ahold of Dr.Shriner and was assured after telling them the dental issue that they could take care of my son. During my visit the staff assured my son that he would be taken care of. Dr.Shriner took less than five minutes to tell me he wouldn't do anything for my son beyond antibiotics, which he was already on. I explained everything prior to coming in, so after my interactions with him, I feel all he did was take advantage of a scared out of state mother. Thanks for having me stop by so you could charge me $75, and tell me to hit the road.

My sister took her son in for an emergency tooth pull on a capped tooth that was new(his face had started to swell) as they were visiting and lived out of state. The receptionist and assistant took one look at my seven year old nephew and told him he would be feeling so much better once the cap and baby tooth was removed. Once my nephew was brought back though Shriner began arguing with my sister about medical advice( she is a RN) he wrote her a scrip for amoxicillin, which she explained to him that her son was allergic to it and he was already being given antibiotics. He told her she was wrong that her son wasnt allergic and if she didn’t give her son the antibiotics he was prescribing her sons throat would close and he would die. He then told her he didn’t have the anesthesia to pull the tooth and told her to take him to the local emergency room where they would take care of him. Then charged her. The emergency room told us they do not do any dental work and to go to a dentist. When I called the dentist office to ask why my sister was treated this way. Shriner lied about my sister several times(claiming she didn’t say her son was allergic to the antibiotics and that he didn’t pull the tooth now because my nephew needed medical attention first) he also avoided answering questions. When I finally told him she was a registered nurse and had already Talked to her sons dentist and pediatrician(both saying to remove the tooth now) He hung up on me. Shriner refused to give any medical reason for not pulling the tooth. My sister is now having to pay a second dentist to pull the tooth after this scam artist didn’t want to do his job. The receptionist apologized several times for the situation but turning away a child who is swollen and in lots of pain and charging there mother is never ok. Also after talking to another receptionist in town. Shriner knew full well the emergency room wouldn’t remove the tooth. My family will never be back.

Advanced Dental is the best dental office I’ve ever been to. The office staff and assistants go above and beyond to make your experience a positive one. They are well-trained and knowledgeable. Dr. Shiner and Dr. Khan really take the time to teach their staff and that shows. Korbin, the hygienist, is awesome. She is very good at what she does and does everything she can to make sure you’re comfortable. She was very good with my kids as well. I always have a good time with Dr. Shiner. He always makes me laugh. Dental work is never fun, but being in a fun environment with fun people helps a lot. He is up-to-date in his practices is a very talented dentist. I also appreciate that he’ll refer us to other people when he sees the situation warrants it. It lets me know he wants what is best for his patients. He’s awesome. Dr. Khan is amazing, too. You can tell he truly cares that his patients are getting the best of the best care. He comes from an amazing background and we are very fortunate to have someone with his level of knowledge and expertise in our small community. He has even called me at home to make sure I’m doing okay. Dr. Shiner and Dr. Khan carefully and methodically give you case-by-case care to ensure the best outcome for their patients. I would recommend Advanced Dental to anyone.

Dr. Shiner and Dr. Khan are amazing! I had a tooth emergency on a Wednesday after noon. They were able to fit me quickly and I didnt have to wait for the next available opening. Both consulted on my tooth and together decided the best course of action for me. They were kind, caring and had my best interests in mind. I appreciate their dedication and all their hard work they put forth in keeping their patients safe and protected during the pandemic . The office is clean and the staff is amazing.

This place is amazing. Not only are Dr. Shiner and Dr. Khan professional. It's the pure entertainment they also provide during some procedures. Dr. Khan sense of humor made my root canal go by quick. Always been happy with their services. Everyone at Advanced Dental are truly great people. Always recommend that place to everyone. I was also very impressed with the level of knowledge of Dr. Khan. Any questions I had for him he answered right away. These guys really care about ya.

Dr. Khan is amazing! I have had a lot of dental work over the years by a lot of different Dr's and can say hands down that Dr. Khan has done the best work out of all of them and has even fixed what others didn't do correctly. When I first went to him I was a little taken back by his directness. But, by the time the visit was over, I had no more reservations. He is thorough and stands by his work. He is quick to correct his staff and in the next breath praise them for outstanding work. He has called me several times, himself, to see how I was handling the treatment and has even moved his schedule to handle a dental emergency I had. I would recommend him to anyone.

Lied to my parents about being preferred providers and then lied about lying when confronted. Continue to send bills to my mom even though their insurance company has stated that they have already paid and the check has been received but not cashed. When confronted about this, the office claimed that it was somehow my mom's job to track down the check her insurance sent to their billing company, even though that's clearly their job. Super shady, don't go.

While traveling I stopped at Advanced Dental for a routine cleaning. While I was there I was informed that I had periodontal disease and needed a deep cleaning done. I was a little bit suspicious since my regular dentist had never mentioned me having periodontal disease, but trusting what I was told I scheduled to have the deep cleaning split into two visits. I went for the first deep cleaning visit and since I was 2,000 miles away from home my insurance didn't cover it. I ended up having to pay a lot more out of pocket than I had expected which was very difficult for me since I was on a very limited budget while out traveling. I ended up cancelling the second appointment for the rest of the deep cleaning because I simply could not afford it. After about 9 months I returned home and saw my regular dentist that I've been seeing for over 15 years to follow up on the deep cleaning that I had received at Advanced Dental. My regular dentist informed me that I showed no signs of having periodontal disease and that getting the other side of my mouth deep cleaned was not necessary.
