Meyer Family Dental Roy Utah

I was told I was in Network before an appointment, but then received a bill in the mail and when I called I was told I was not. I was so careful to make sure and double check with the front desk, but apparently they didn't do their part to check for sure, which other places have done. I do not like getting surprised by bills that I didn't expect. They lost my trust.

My daughter needed a couple teeth extracted. She was very nervous but Dr. Meyer was so gentle and patient with her. He made it such a good experience!

They lied about there billing concerning out account. Plus every tooth they worked on either cracked, broke off or had to be pulled after it was supposed to be fixed. I ended up with a mouth full of broken and infected teeth. Plus they said they would discount some procedures as long as we did our 6 month check ups with them instead the charged us almost $100.00 in interest a month making our account reach over $8000.00 that we had to pay on. The procedures were always extremely painful and made matters worse than when I started. I would never recommend this dentist to anyone. It was just a horrible experience all around!

I started going to this dentist earlier this year, I was skeptical to say the least. I’ve had some terrible dentists in the past, but this entire office works to make you as comfortable as possible while getting your teeth taken care of. I’m very pleased with how everything has gone this far, and I look forward to getting everything finished soon. Thank you to the entire staff.

So I don't do the Doctors office or the dentist...but I had a dental emergency... 3pm on a Saturday Dr Meyer and his son came in to pull a tooth for me. Noone in the surrounding areas would even see me for over a week. The procedure went fast and painless and I was comfortable the whole time. I cannot thank these guys enough. Highly recommend and will now be a regular patient.

I can't give this dentist enough stars!! He was great and got us in right away. Very reasonably priced and was up front about how much it would be. He explained everything and kept him comfortable during the whole process. From an emergency visit to a happy returning customer. Thank you again!

As a long time patient of Meyer Dental I can only say positive things about Dr Meyer. I'm no longer comfortable although with the Meyer billing process. They pick & choose which contracted in-network provider rates they will honor & charge the customer the balance regardless of what the insurance Co says the patient owes per in-network contract.

DO NOT GO HERE! I used them for 2 root canals and general cleaning. Fast forward a few years later the teeth they did a root canal on are hurting. After going to a Endodontist they informed me that the one wasn’t done correctly and the tooth needs pulled and a implant installed. Had the Endodontist look at the other tooth and they completely missed a canal so now I have to pay for another root canal because Meyer Family Dental didn’t do their job. The doctor at Meyer Family Dental also was significantly late and when I brought it up the lady said it happens frequently. Stay clear of this place!

Louis Meyer is very unprofessional and negligent. He is just down to the core a bad person. He does not seem to care about his patients at all. He has a horrible attitude and is not understanding! I’m all for supporting local businesses but after my experience being here not this one!

I went to see Dr. Meyer yesterday, I was in an emergency state. I am visiting friends and I am from out of town. I was in incredible pain. Not only did they get me in day of, but he was able to cure my pain and fix my problem. I am so grateful for what him and his friendly staff did for me. I highly recommend going to him. I woke up today and I am pain free!

I have been seeing Dr Meyer for over 20 years. I take my entire family to see him. He truly is a great dentist. Dr. Meyer's staff are helpful and kind. Dr. Meyer is very experienced and has kept my teeth so healthy over the years. I highly recommend Meyer family dental.

My son had a tooth break and we went to Meyer Family Dental because they were close to our house when we lived in Roy... it took 7 different visits before they even put the permanent crown on and it came off within hours, not to mention the dentist broke off a piece of the tool they use to do a root canal in my sons tooth. Had it fixed the next day... but now a year later, the crown has come off AGAIN! Complete garbage... 😡🤬 We also found out from a new dentist that the root canal wasn't done correctly and my son had an infection in the tooth still... might be time for their dentist to retire!

Love the staff so friendly and Dr. Meyer has a great attitude.
