I was surprised to see how a few people's reported experiences drew down MSFD's rating. I've been going here since it was Lansky Dental (about 2004?). Main Street Family Dentistry is the best practice I've ever visited. Their knowledge and onsite-technology are incredible. Every time I visit it seems they have some new advance. The dentists, technicians, hygienists, and receptionists are the most knowledgeable, kind, and thoughtful people, as a group, that I have the pleasure of doing any form of business with in Vermont. All the staff appear to genuinely like one another, which creates a warm and welcoming environment. I have Delta Dental and have never had any frustrations with insurance or billing. I wanted to share my years of experience going here and say I would recommend going to this practice in heartbeat. In just a few words.... skilled, competent, professional, organized, kind, and welcoming. 5 stars from me!

Unfortunately things have gone down hill, been going to main st for 8 years, now they don't accept Delta dental as preferred in network, so they expect you to pay upfront and get reimbursed. No thanks, I will take my perfectly good insurance elsewhere.

for many years, i was happy with the service that i received at Main Street Family Dentistry. however, recently they dropped us as clients without any notification of any kind. this includes my wife and 2 young children. this is completely unethical and unprofessional. After finding out from an outside source that they had dropped us, my wife called them and they said it was because of too many cancellations. WE ARE IN A PANDEMIC! they were very clear we should not show up for appointments if you are showing any symptoms. and as a father of 2 young children, if any one of us was sick, i had to cancel. So they tell us to cancel if anyone is sick, but then when we do they drop us. I was a long time client and i can see now that they dont value their clients, and they will drop you as soon as it’s convenient for them.

I literally can not say enough good things about them. I have horrible anxiety surrounding my teeth / dental work, and they go way out of their way to make it comfortable for me to come in for procedures. Highly, highly recommend.

Been going to this practice for the last 4 years and I refuse to go anywhere else. Amazing service, amazing staff does great with my kids, my husband and myself. Great at explaining what needs to be done and how much it will be before getting it. Highly recommend this practice.

High quality dental care - I also don't understand some of the negative reviews, particularly the one about the male dentist, since this is an all women office. Very professional, clean, focused on safety, and answers all your questions.

I started going to this dental practice In 2014 It was a very wonderful place at the time and gave great service. In the last three years the service has gotten significantly worse so I recently changed dentist to a practice in Colchester Vermont It has been a night and day difference.

This place is great. I don’t understand the negative reviews but I like this practice and will be taking my family here, kids and all. It’s a shame that it has 3.4 stars. I have been to a lot of dentists over the years and I consider this practice one of the best. No place is absolutely perfect.

I returned to Main St Family Dentistry after moving back to Montpelier a few years ago, and am glad I have. Several of their dental hygienists have cleaned up my teeth, while educating me on how to improve my oral hygiene habits, and they're always super friendly. I've seen Dr Burns exclusively since returning to their practice, and have no complaints. She's really nice and thorough. Overall I'm happy with the care I've received at this practice.

I always had several cavities when I went to this dentist and received zero explanation or education about my teeth. I started getting suspicious so I found a new dentist. I haven’t been told I have a cavity since. Don’t waste your money.

This is a great dental practice - the staff is friendly, accommodating and skilled. FYI, the review from "Contrarian Lagomorph" that is currently skewing the review score appears to be entirely made up - there are not any male dentists who even work in this office.
