Dr. Johnston is a wonderful dentist. I've been going to for over 40 years. Never had a problem that he didn't fix. He is very caring and concerned for his patients. He went out of his way for me when I had a toothache (came in early) to see me. Very friendly office staff.

Knowingly didn't use enough filling material for my tooth even with the dental asst. Urging to mix more. Next day, my first real meal (27 hours later) food got stuck. I called back and the secretary could only schedule me for a month and a half away. This is after I told her my tooth was getting damaged from Dr. Frank's mistake. The day came and I had a sick kid, couldn't make the appointment, I called prior to reschedule. My next appoint ment was a Friday at 1pm. I called at 1030 am to confirm the time. The secretary told me the Dr. was gone for the day and that she tried to call me which was a lie. No missed calls from her office, I checked with my verizon history. Then they try to send me a missed appointment fee of 25 dollars. I get another appointment (20 days later) and it is scheduled for 4pm. I am 100% certain of this, as I made the date in my planner and also remember considering if I would have enough time to get the dental work done and pick my daughter up from daycare by 5:30. I would not forget or mistake something of this importance as my tooth is sustaining damages daily. The secretary called me around 215 and said I missed my appointment for the "4th" time and they would be u able to see me again. Remember, there was only **3** bookings alltogether. This dentist office refused to fix my tooth because I missed **1** appointment, even tho I called 2 hours in advance to let them know. Thanks for the messed up tooth. The worst part is: the dental assistant TOLD him she could "mix more filling material, it would be no problem" yet he denied her and chose to use less. A blatant mistake and now he won't fix it, instead they play games with my life.
