I called and was seen immediately for a dental emergency. Dr. Shah was so friendly and personable. The office staff were helpful and sympathetic. Dr. Shah is competent of that there is no doubt. I had a gold crown installed from him that was excellent. But one day I cracked a crown and since the tooth split down below the gum he told me he couldn't do it. He said I would have to have the tooth pulled, implant installed, and then a new crown. He talked like he was telling me to buy a cup of coffee. Now I know all that work is going to cost maybe 4 to 5 thousand. He didn't consider that. I had it done in India and the good dentist there had no problem with fitting a nice gold crown that went below the gum line. That was five years ago so I guess it didn't need to be taken out. Another issue I had was I had dental insurance that covered cleaning but for some reason the clinic didn't get paid. The lady doing the insurance got very hostile with me demanding immediate payment. When I asked about the insurance she replied that it was a "courtesy" so she didn't want to pursue it. I immediately went there and paid in cash so I wouldn't have to deal with her and the bad attitude. So I don't go back there anymore for these reasons. The doctor is good but the flippant attitude about the work is annoying. The last little quirk is it takes months to get an appointment. Not many dentists around Moneta I guess...

My husband is a transplant recipient and has to be careful about where he goes. We have no worries with this office. I would recommend this office to anyone of any age.
