If you are worried about shots....THIS is your dentist!! The shot process feels honestly like a bit of "slight of hand" magic. If you werent numb afterwards you'd think he played a trick on you. I travel 45 minutes to this place so that should tell you SOMETHING about the quality of work that they do.

A good local family dentistry office that will make you feel at home and treat you like an individual. They also do good work. I went to another dentist in the area who wanted to immediately put on three crowns (which would have been very expensive). I changed insurance and that dentist didn't accept it, so I switched to Dr. Kamkar. He thought the fillings had some time left on them, and that we should keep an eye on them. Almost three years later, I have no pain and the fillings have held up. Thanks for saving me several thousand dollars! I guess the lesson is: shop around and get a second opinion if you're seeing a new dentist who tells you about expensive procedures you "have to" get done immediately. (This might seem familiar if you've dealt with a certain type of auto mechanic.) I feel like I can trust Dr. Kamkar, and that's peace of mind.

Had to change my review after several years going here. I now have a swollen jaw from a problematic Crown put it here. I have been back several times since complaining of pain and always told nothing or that nature will take care of it. Well, now I have missed 2 days of work due to my ongoing issues with this tooth. I get the gentle dentist commitment, and that you are conservative with your methods, but I now think I may need to find a new dentist (my wife as well). Maybe, just maybe, listen to your customers when they are complaining about pain. Was not seeking anything other than hoping to avoid going thru what I am going thru right now. Thx for this!

Very gently dentist that warned me about everything I may experience before any of it was implemented in my mouth. The staff was very personable and had great chair side manners. The dentist took the time to examine and clean my mouth much more thoroughly than any other dentist ever has in my mutiple decades of life. My favorite dentist to date and I would recommend to anyone.

Unsure of what dentist to choose? Look no further. Front Buffy to Julia and Dr. Kamkar himself, this office is wonderful. Each staff member is kind, transparent, empathetic and clearly skilled and knowledgeable. They use digital xray -- no sharp cuts or abrasions in your mouth from sharp edged plastic! They even have you use sterilized sunglasses that reduce the glare from the light. Each person explained things thoroughly and efficiently. And, Dr. Kamkar -- it's hard to explain. His presence seems to be calming to one's soul. Before I left, I was given a written estimate of the work that needed to be done showing the different possibilities so that I know what to expect financially, too. I highly recommend this office. My first experience there I would call excellence. I've been to many dentist in the past and I have never experienced the type of excellence in customer service, excellence in care as I have here. The expertise, the compassion, everything was perfect and that was just my consult. When I returned for my first actual procedure I experience the exact same excellence as I did the first time. THIS is the dentist I chose for myself and my family from here on out. THIS is the excellence I've been searching for and now my search has stopped.

The staff is so cheery and friendly and the doctor is friendly and calming. He explains everything so there are no surprises. He didn't lecture me about anything and I did not feel pressured to purchase any cosmetic procedures. They were on time and efficient. The rooms are private and the office is quiet. Overall it was a relaxing trip to the dentist.

Nothing but good things to say. Had an amazing experience with Doc Kamkar. This was a final visit in a series of visits. Doc is a perfectectionist. Its apparent he loves his work. He goes that extra mile. Keeps you informed of what he's doing. It extends to his staff. Office Reception was simple. Staff extremely polite. Even when all the work was completed they invited my family to come too. It did not feel like a business proposition but that all my family would be taken care of too if they were to come. If your looking for a new dentist might want to drive a couple more miles to here!

Attitude sure changed when my payment wouldn't go through. They don't care about you or the pain you're in. Patient embandoment. They knew I was in pain and still sent me away. Was a regular patient. Not going back now. They just want your money.

I originally found Dr. Kamkar 4 years ago through 1-800-Dentist, and I've never regretted it. My whole family goes there. The doctor is friendly and kind, the technicians are fabulous and the office staff helps me understand all the complicated insurance requirements to ensure we are happy with our experience all around. As much as most people dread going to the dentist, this group defies that perception. Highly recommend!

My friend recommended Dr Kamkar because she had gotten outstanding dental care from his office. My boyfriend and I decided to give him a try and we are so happy we did. We have been patients for almost 2 years now. Between the two of us, Dr Kamkar has crowned 6 teeth for us and has done a beautiful job. He's a perfectionist.!! and he is "the gentle dentist". Everyone in the office is very professional. The staff is so kind and caring. They understand the anxiety associated with dental work and will put you at ease.They will assist you with insurance and have financial plans to help those without insurance. I trust Dr. Kamkar to be very honest and perform superior dental work!
