I just had a fantastic first appointment with Hackney Family Dentistry. The level of friendly professionalism with everyone I met helped me to feel welcomed and well cared for. Dr Hackney was gentle, patient and informative. I loved that my x-rays were shown and explained to me like I was a member of my own dental health care team. I am so happy to have found my new dental care home.

The Dr’s were both very informative in my dental needs and didn’t hesitate to explain more thoroughly when I asked extra questions. I never knew I could look forward to seeing my dental professional team. I moved from a big city (out of state) to Shelton, and had only been under the care of "chain" dental offices prior to moving here. I can tell the staff here actually enjoys their job, and has the experience to back it up. I always get major anxiety about dental care, even though I've never had any huge issues, but the Hackney dental team has been so stellar in taking care of my oral health that the overall demeanor brings me a sense of calm. How refreshing! I am so pleased with all of the staff I have had the pleasure of interacting with so far. Everyone is so kind and compassionate, the office is absolutely gorgeous, and my teeth have never felt more cared for. I am so happy to be a part of the "family", and I look forward to my future visits with them. Highly recommend!

Just moved to the area and needed a new dentist, so I read reviews and picked Hackney Family Dentistry based on comments. They were able to get me in quickly to schedule a repair to a chipped crown. Turned out to be 2 cracked crowns, but ok... The process to fix these issues was remarkable, in that I think it's been just 2 weeks since my initial appointment, maybe 3. My temporary crown came off when I was brushing my teeth this morning and they squeezed me in today to re-stick it on. Turned out the permanent crowns came in early, and within an hour, I was out the door with 2 new teeth 5 days early. The office staff is so friendly and efficient, the doctor is quick and thorough, but most importantly, painless. I still need some cleaning, but I'm not dreading it. That's a lot to say for someone who lives in terror of dentists. They are great, trust me.

Very friendly, yet professional people. Like so many others, going to the Dentist makes me feel anxious. I felt completely at ease with everyone I encountered at Hackney Dental within a few minutes after arrival for my 1st visit. I never felt pressured to do any of the suggested work needed on my teeth. I highly recommend Hackney Dental if you don't feel comfortable going to the Dentist. They will set your mind at ease & make you glad you are there. They will help you to achieve putting on your best smile!

My experience this morning with the two receptionists and Kayla — the dental assistant and Dr. Travis was exceptionally great; a crown loosened while flossing my teeth at 10:15 AM; I was in a dental office chair by 11:15 AM; and my crown was examined, taken out and re-cemented by 11:40. Thank you to a great team at Hackney Family Dentistry!

Easy to talk to, easy to work with, and never an issue!

I went in to get my teeth checked after having a tooth ach. The dentist came up with plans and knew what I needed to done with my teeth in no time. Just had a root canal today he got me in and out of the chair in no time.

Always the professionals and did a great job of cleaning my teeth and carefully examining them.

Always have a good experience at Hackney Dental! Everyone is courteous and professional. All questions are answered, even anticipated. Advice is routinely given. On my most recent visit I had to wait for just a few minutes, but they gave me a coffee gift card as way of apology. Completely unnecessary, but just showed me how above and beyond they are! I left for a few years because another dental office was more convenient, but came back and can't believe that I ever left! Won't happen again. Thanks Hackney! You guys are awesome.

Talk about amazing dentists and staff! I began a very long dental process today to fix my teeth and Dr. Travis was incredible along with his assistant Kayla. I was in the chair for 4.5 hours today and they did everything possible to keep me comfortable plus he saved two teeth that another dentist was just going to pull! Thank you all I do not think I will be as nervous next time lol

The overall experience at Hackney Family Dentistry is superior to others I have had in the past. Their staff take the time to get to know you. Even if you don't see them but a couple times a year you are recognized and greeted by name. They are extremely accommodating and work with you on your dental needs. Great group of people. I can't sing their praises enough!

Even dentists need a great dentist. As a dentist myself, I wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of my teeth. Both Dr. Kyle and Dr. Travis are great at what they do, and the quality of treatment is top notch. I've been seeing them for a number of years now, and completely trust their recommendations and have been very happy with the care I have received. The staff is great as well. They are organized, friendly, and well-trained.

After being in the dental field for 15 years, I was hesitant going to a dentist I haven't been to. This office is wonderful! I never felt pressured to do work I knew I did not need done. My assistant was new to the field and her fellow employees were there to support her! I am so impressed and would not want to go anywhere else ever! Thank you guys! ..oh, and for those scared of shots, they don't bother me, tho I don't love them, but the topical was placed by the new assistant perfectly and the speed of the shot was PERFECT! Not too slow, not too fast. The N2O helped as well which was free!!!!🙏

In a crisis, Dr Kyle was able to help me with affordable emergency dental care. The staff is warm, friendly, and they all appear to love working there. My hygienists were gentle and informative. During my root canal, the process was as quick as possible and I felt no pain. I feel 100% better now and having my own teeth still is such a joy. I will definitely be a patient for life!
