This is Morgan writing this . My son and I share an account. I had an appointment to have a tooth extraction and I was extremely nervous as I have never had a tooth pulled before and prior to this I was told by one dentist at another clinic I would need to be sedated for it because it’s to close to a nerve and could paralyze my face, another dentist at a different clinic told me it was fine and they didn’t need to sedate me. I expressed all of this to Dr. Mike today along with my long term use of prednisone for a liver disease which has caused osteopenia and could cause my bones to break very easy, along with a blood clotting disorder I have. Dr. Mike listened VERY close to my concerns and took all of the steps to make sure it would be a safe procedure for me to have. He came to the conclusion that it would be safer for me to go to a oral surgeon and be sedated for it. I could not thank him enough for listening to my needs and making sure I got the safest and best experience I could. I have always gotten a gut wrenching feeling when making a dentist appointment and if you’re anything like me because of that feeling you put off going to the dentist but I can tell you right now as of now I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist and I am actually looking forward to my next appointment. P.s I didn’t post this until I made Dr. Mike my primary dentist so none of you could steal him. I see a tube of toothpaste in my future 😂

We love River Birch Dental. One of us has horrible dental anxiety and from the minute you walk in and all through the process everyone reassures you that everything will be okay. Having difficult cases seems to be my speciality and they keep working hard to make my mouth right. If there is ever a dental emergency for us they have always been very helpful.
