I have a number of health conditions that have completely eroded my teeth and have caused years of distress and countless trips to all sorts of dentists, orthodontists, and oral surgeons for nearly a decade. Prior to Bay Lakes Center For Complex Dentistry (BLCFCD), nobody had any real solutions, and my multiple chronic issues caused traditional dental workers as much anxiety as I felt before every visit. Which is why I was so relieved to meet with Dr. Hal and the BLCFCD staff. From day one, Dr. Hal had an idea of what was going on. He examined me, took the time to talk about my options, and had seen plenty of cases similar to mine. He worked up multiple options that could give me the result I wanted. He talked with my regular dentist. He called a few oral surgeons and orthodontists to get me quotes on all what all the procedures would entail. Most importantly, I finally have a time line and a starting point to get things started after all these years. In addition, for anyone who has Sjogren's, the dental hygienist at Bay Lakes knows her stuff. She knows what rinses and polishes cause pain to dry-mouth patients, she knows how to deal with reflux-damaged teeth, she has helpful tips for people with complex issues, and she understands how autoimmune flares can inflame the gums and throw an assessment out of whack. What a wonderful difference this makes in an average cleaning! Finally, the front desk associates are kind, helpful, and extremely accommodating. They will help you arrange appointments for outside experts needed for your teeth or bite while you're at the office. It all helps to make a emotionally-charged, complex problem that much easier to deal with. I'm so happy to recommend this exceptional team at BLCFCD.

The staff is friendly and helpful. I didn’t have any wait time with my appointment and I appreciated the professionalism by Dr. Hallas. I received a nice explanation of my situation and my questions were answered kindly. Dental visits can be nerve wracking for some; yet, I didn’t feel anxious in the least.

I've had Sjogren's for 20 years, and the damage my dry mouth has had on my teeth and bite is substantial and devastating. After consulting countless dentists and orthodontists for years, I was ready to give up. But the folks at Bay Lakes took a look, had a talk with my other dentists, and had a workable plan (with multiple price options) to put me on a path to better dental health and improved self-esteem. I have not felt any pressure to go over my budget, and Bay Lakes takes care of coordinating my dental care plan with my orthodontist. Finally, I feel like this very emotional issue is going to be handled by experts who understand the unique challenges Sjogren's patients face. I'm hopeful for the first time in years.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lasnoski since 2007 and Dr. Hallas since 2017. The office staff has changed over the years, but as new faces appear they are always polite and helpful. I can not praise both prosthodontists enough. I have spent many hours in their dental chairs and have felt extremely comfortable with their expertise, honesty and humor. Because of this, I have no problem with referring them to family and friends. The best compliment I can give Bay Lakes Center for Complex Dentistry is when strangers tell me what a beautiful smile I have.

2 years ago, I walked into Bay Lakes unsure what to expect. I was new to the GB area and, historically, I hate everything to do with dentists & dentistry. They turned my frown upside down with every consult, every visit, every phone call. This is really a top notch group! Dr. Hallas is exceptional and his staff (shout out to Bobbie and Lisa) are so friendly and caring. I was informed, educated and reassured every step of the way. I had some significant issues and ended up getting a full set of dentures with implants and bone grafting. It was a long process, but Bay Lakes made sure I knew what to expect and understood every step of the way. A few weeks ago, I received my final set and they are beautiful, comfortable and I barely know they are there! I'm so happy. Side note - shortly after my final appointment .. my dog ate my husbands dentures (no kidding!). My husband is not a patient of Bay Lakes and it was the week before Christmas. I called Dr. Hallas in a panic - - he gave me his cell phone so I could text him photos of the damage and was able to see my husband within the hour. They got him fitted and got the dentures over to the lab and were unsure if they would be able to get them back to him before Christmas day. They just called today and they are overnighting them to our home by Dec. 24 - so my husband will be able to enjoy the holiday treats and dinner. I can't say enough about this group. I could go on and on here, but I think you get my point. If I could give more stars, I would! (PS - my husband is a new patient of theirs now!) Thank you!

My initial visit to Bay Lakes Complex Dentistry was a positive experience. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The entire staff is compassionate, kind and welcoming. They bent over backwards to expedite my upcoming care and eventual creation of my new dentures. I highly recommend considering this great group of people for any of your complex dental needs. I had very high anxiety when I first arrived, my blood pressure was way higher than normal. Dr Lasnoski validated ALL my concerns and set up a plan to restore my smile. This is the first time I am looking forward to my next appointment. That evening when I was home, my blood pressure was 117/79. I can not wait for the day I can talk about my teeth without crying. I feel that day will be soon.
