Our family is very grateful for the excellent dental care we receive at Oshkosh Complete Dentistry. Dr. Heil and his staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. We were previously patients of Dr. Vu who retired, who was also excellent. We are happy that Dr. Heil has continued that high quality standard of care. We highly recommend Oshkosh Complete Dentistry and Dr. Heil!

UPDATE: Dr Vu is no longer working at Oshkosh Complete Dentistry. I do not anything about the new dentist. The following review pertains to Dr. Vu's work. "I used to have a filling that had become stained. It was near my front tooth so it always looked like I had food caught between my teeth. I had hesitated to get it replaced because so often the "fix" is worse than the original problem. Dr Vu replaced a stained filling and it looks completely natural. I honestly did not know dental work could blend so easily into the surrounding tooth material. I already knew he was terrific at routine dental work (both my adult children wait until they visit home to see him, because they can't find anyone they like as much where they live--and they both live in big cities). But now I know he is a master at cosmetic work too. In addition, he doesn't scare you into getting unnecessary work done. My daughter had gone to a dentist in California who said she needed hundreds of dollars of work. Dr Vu said she needed a single sealant replaced. I can't recommend him highly enough."

Its the most happening place in town. Just a fun place for the whole family. Great food, even better entertainment! It is definitely a must visit for those who are from out of town!!

Best dentist ever. I used to hate dentists. Unfortunately though, I had to have extensive dental work done, and Dr. Vu was recommended. Dr. Vu was the best choice I could have ever made. He has incredible skills as a dentist, using the most perfect work to create the most perfect smiles. He labored intensely over each detail that went into making my broken smile beautiful. Nothing was ever done sloppy or half-best. I cannot tell you the countless number of late evenings and lunch breaks he has spent caring for me during that time. He puts his patient's well-being first. Now I have been going to Dr. Vu for over a decade, and I can say confidently that he has done a fabulous job. Not only is he a brilliant dentist, but he is also one of the kindest, most compassionate men I know. He genuinely cares about his patients, their well-being, and even their finances. Even though I no longer have insurance that covers me under his care, I still chose to go back to him for his outstanding skill and kindness. He has helped to make things affordable, while never compromising care. In addition, his staff are truly the most wonderful people. They remember me by name, care about my life, and love to work together. It's a wonderful place to have the most complicated dental work done (and let me tell you, mine was complicated) or just to have a simple cleaning, exam, or cavity filled (mine was painless, by the way). I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a dentist to go to Dr. Vin Vu. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Vu has done extensive work on my teeth. I suffered a fall in 2002. Dr. Vu designed and placed beautiful veneers on my damaged teeth. He has been my dentist since then. Had a crown put on today. Dr. Vu works to give his patients the best options at the most reasonable price. Always compassionate. Thanks Dr. Vu.

Dr vin vu is the best dentist I have ever seen. He is very caring and understanding, and he does great work. I even trusted him fill a cavity without novacaine and it did not hurt at all. I don't think I will ever find another dentist that I trust as much as him.

I asked for recommendations to see a new dentist (who is also an expert at cosmetic work as well) on my Facebook. I had an overwhelming number of people tell me to go see Dr. Vu. My first appointment was very thorough and informative. Dr. Vu including his staff were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. I scheduled my initial appointment in June and was told there was no availability until late August. Luckily, because they knew I was a teacher and the school year would be very busy, they were able to get me in a few times this summer already. I have never been to a dentist where the doctor actually spends about 90% of the visit with you! Usually it’s the dental assistant/hygienist doing most of the work. Dr. Vu did an exceptional work on a few different teeth that needed work on, but my biggest concern was my front tooth. Not only was my front tooth decayed but chipped at an angle & up so deep into my gums, that it took him 3.5 hours to work on. I have been going to different dentists throughout the last 20 years to get the tooth filled every few years; every time it was very difficult for the dentists to make a miracle happen. This is the first time in over 20 years that I am able to smile confidently & love the way my front tooth looks! The quality works & craftsmanship was just exceptional. The color matches the rest of my teeth & you can’t even tell how badly chipped my tooth was! This is a great facility with very knowledgeable & friendly staff. I’d highly recommend people to trust in the work of Dr. Vu & his staff! I’ve committed to a long-term dentist now!

We have been patients of Dr. Vin Vu for several years. Recently, I had a veneer fall off, on a Sunday night! The veneer had been completed 12 years prior by a previous dentist. Dr Vin Vu, and his thoughtful, caring team, got me in the next morning. I was so impressed with the empathy they showed, knowing it would have been embarrassing to go to work with a missing veneer. And, the placement of the veneer looks better than it did before! Fancy offices with expensive coffee machines can’t replace outstanding skill and attention to detail. I for one, would prefer a dentist who stays current on the latest equipment and skills, and leaves the fancy coffee to Starbucks. Would recommend Dr. Vin Vu to EVERYONE.

I just received a white composite filling from Dr. Vu. He is the most caring, patient medical professional I've ever been to, hands down. It's very rare to find a dentist as qualified as he is in a town like Oshkosh. The beauty of his restorations proves his artistic ability as a cosmetic dentist of the highest calibre. Most people have to go to major cities to find this kind of quality. I was referred to Dr. Vu by an extremely accomplished cosmetic dentist who could have sent me to Chicago or Milwaukee, but his first choice was Dr. Vu. Thanks so much, Dr. Vu and staff!

It had been over a decade since my last dental visit so I was apprehensive to try a new dentist. I was referred by a close friend so I trusted her judgement. Although first I did my research and found that Dr. Vu has excelled at every level of his education. His list of accomplishments and accreditations provided me the reassurance I needed. When I arrived for my first appointment I was greeted by his wife and within 5 minutes I knew I had made the right decision. They were both extremely professional and caring. The atmosphere is inviting with a spa like feel. I was blown away with the technology that Dr. Vu was using to conduct my initial exam. Instead of jamming sharp objects into my teeth he was using a scanning device that provided a scientific measurement of the tooth which was completely painless. The ceiling mounted monitors where I could see pictures and video of my teeth as well as watch tv during the procedures really eased my mind and relaxed me throughout the process. There were tons of other things to calm you like a choice of any music and noise canceling headphones. Overall it was a great experience and I have actually been back several times in the last few months. I was recently married and my pictures prove how happy I am with my new smile cause I am sharing it with everyone. Before each visit the staff went over the procedures that would be done as well as other options. They outlined cost and worked seamlessly with my insurance company to keep my out of pocket expenses down to a minimum. Fabulous!! Dr. Vu has been my dentist for the last several years. I have Never had a problem scheduling an appointment and I have never had to wait anymore than 5 minutes in the waiting room. His staff is fantastic - they always remember the conversation we had the time before and ask relevant questions! I recently had a procedure done with Dr. Vu - resin composite bonding. It's amazing!!! He made my teeth look like NEW! I've had dozens of compliments, even from strangers, about how beautiful my smile is. The procedure was painless, and while it was a bit time consuming - it was WELL WORTH IT!!! I love love love the results and would do it again in a second. Thank you Dr. Vu!

Highly recommended! Having lived in Hawaii, California, and now Wisconsin, I've had seven dentists. Though I thought I had a great dentist in California, Dr. Vu has raised my expectation level for great dentistry. I'm now in the process of being fitted for my third crown by Dr. Vu, and have had other work performed over several visits. Each visit has consistently been a pleasant experience. Remarkable work. ZERO PAIN during or after each visit -- sadly, something I can't say for most of my previous dentists. Here are more reasons I'm willing to drive an hour from my home to his office: - He patiently discusses all of my dentistry concerns. - He shows and describes each problem area. - He plainly discusses treatment options, pros, cons, probabilities and exact costs. - His approach is conservative and preventative, maximizing health and visual quality while minimizing costs. - Both Dr. Vu and his assistant describe each procedure before and while they're working -- no surprises. - He performs work carefully, considerately and confidently, not hurried and carelessly. - His staff is always cheerful and accommodating, they personally call you to remind you of your appointment -- not a machine. For me, the biggest surprise has been that after every visit, I receive a follow-up phone call, either by Dr. Vu or his staff just to make sure everything is ok. Once, after a major visit, he personally phoned me on a Saturday afternoon! I've never had a dentist who cared so much for their patients or their work. I trust Dr. Vu and his staff. I'm so lucky to have found them!
