It was the first time I have gone to see Dr. Frakes in about 18 months due to the hygienist he has had. He has a new hygienist who is phenomal. I have a sensitive spot in my mouth and his new hygienist does not like to inflict pain, whereas the old one seemed to get off on it. I was so relaxed and comfortable during my recent visit that I almost fell asleep in the chair (if it weren't for the scraping sounds I would have). Before I was very tense, wanting to climb out of my chair due to all of the pain. I dreaded going back and keeping my appointments due to this. He and his staff are very friendly and a joy to be around. I highly recommend them if you like pain free dental visits.
