First off, it didn't take long to get me in. I could have had my appointment after a couple days if it wasn't for work. I went in with the worst anxiety and they were all very kind and gracious. Have been to see Dr. Porter and his staff 3 times now! It is a 150 mile drive for us presently, but well worth that small sacrifice when you understand the benefits of true, biologic dentistry! I have met the entire staff, and worked with almost half of them in one capacity or another. They are like family to us now! Care is detailed and thorough, and always completely explained! Was a patient for about 15 years. Had a tooth abscess and was not given antibiotics while waiting a month for a root canal TWICE. Instead of prescribing antibiotics, he told me to take like 5 ibuprofen at a time and was more than happy to do an expensive procedure to drill in and place antibiotics in the tooth, instead of a 5 dollar bottle of antibiotics. He's more concerned about sales than anything. Had enough. It's to be expected around here though. Found a competent, caring dentist for once.

Dr. Porter seems to be a very good dentist. The office is very nice. It is a pretty decent dental experience. However - be aware. They have very questionable billing and accounting practices. Ask for an invoice (like all normal businesses provide) before you leave. They tend to overbill you and not call you back. * Also, I have been there 5 times, and spent well over $2k with them.
