Whitney Plaza Dental

I’ve been seeing Dr McCurry for the Better part of a decade now so I thought I’d update my review. Still 5 stars here! He still has the same back office staff he opened with, which says something to me about this practice. I’ve (unfortunately) had to utilize almost all of his services at some point over this time, but he’s always taken great care of me and I’ve never left without feeling better. When my 3 year old fell on her front teeth, he evaluated them and got x rays to evaluate the damage. He was sensitive and patient with her; he knew what to say and what not to say to keep her calm and comfortable. Long story short, I trust his skills and advice. I think you’d like it here.

Claimed to be a qualified orthodontist, I ended up with 8 years or braces, once I got the braces off, a wire from a permanent retainer they had put in, was in a place that it had got in my gums. It was wrong completely and my new dentist removed it. I also had to get a deep cavity filled, and months after it got filled I told them it hurt more now then it did with the cavity, and they ignored me. I ended up having to get a root canal. Would not recommend.

Be prepared to spend an afternoon, if you make an appointment. The visit begins very routine and quickly changes to a dental convention. The simple cleaning I scheduled never occurred because of the sales pitches for sonic toothbrushes, head gear, etc, etc. I am now a very happy patient of Dr. Dana Leroy. It’s been a month since Whitney Dental was asked to send my records to Dr. Leroy... still waiting.

I am greatly disappointed with this place. Complete waste of time. I thought I'd give them a second chance after the dentist failed to actually help my father but also over charged him a couple hundred dollars, when other dentist offices offered the same help for so much cheaper. But now my fiance tried to get their help, had an appointment and came in but one of the office ladies sent us away because my fiance has not paid a past bill. Alright, understandable, so we went to go fix it, however, turns out the bill was already paid! So why were we rejected? What I gathered was something along the lines of he wasnt able to pay the bill in full at the time of appointment so they decided to refuse any further appointments with him. I could understand this better if they made it clear at the time or explained how their services work, but they never did. So now sadly my fiance is left with a severe tooth issue that we cannot try to fix today because this business mislead us into thinking he could get help asap and further wasted our day. It's nice to know people would reject someone with an emergency.

Raylene is great. Dr.McCurry is great. Nothing else needs to be said.

I’m so thankful Dr. McCurry’s team. They made my wisdom teeth extraction extremely smooth & as easy going as possible. As someone who’s normally pretty anxious when it comes to dental procedures, I felt so comfortable & at ease during my extraction. Thank you for everything!

Dr. McCurry, you have a great personality and so much passion for what you do and are so knowledgeable and were so willing to share your knowledge and answer my endless questions. Rude, unprofessional and uncaring. Do NOT recommended this place what so ever. The receptionist is cruel and I don’t understand how it can be allowed to have someone judge you and be so angry over the phone and not have any consequences. we will take our business elsewhere!

This is from my wife Justine regarding her visit to Dr. Kevin McCurry's office: From the moment I arrived I was treated extremely well by staff. They informed me of every step that would be taken and did a professional job. Dr Mc Curry took a good deal of time with me explaining the results of the xrays on a fantastic wide screen tv as well as explore all my options for my treatment. I was very satisfied with my visit and will be returning for excellent care.Having myself been in Dentistry as a Hygienist for thirty years, I believe that I know great care when I receive it. Dr McCurry laid out a great care plan for my needs and has done an exceptional job. The materials he used for my crowns, lower partial and Yes, denture are the best quality. His work is also exceptional and he does his best to get it just right for you. So to get great quality and very professional Dentistry see Dr. McCurry.

My visits to Whitney Plaza Dental are always great. We are blessed to have such a high caliber dentist, like Dr McCurry in Sheridan. He is knowledgeable and skilled. His staff is well trained, friendly and helpful. All of this makes the visits pleasant.

I appreciate Dr. McCurry and Crew! I don’t particularly like having to go to the dentist, but my visits to Whitney Plaza Dental have been positive. The entire staff is very professional and personable. They give you your options and costs before doing any procedures. They make you as comfortable as possible during the procedure. Dr McCurry is a very knowledgeable and caring dentist. He really listens and takes time to answer all my questions. The staff are all very nice, too. I feel like I am visiting friends when I go there. I will be returning to start my treatment plan. I have faith that this time my teeth will be fixed and my smile back.

I go to Whitney Plaza Dental for my orthodontics (braces) and I love it! I suffered from headaches my entire life and now after braces I have been chronic headache free for 1 year!

Dr. McCurry and his staff are always kind and professional. A crown can be done in a single visit. There is never a wait and a cookie is always waiting at the end. Dr. McCurry is skilled and has extensive experience in his field. When I first went it I was in bad shape and it took 5 years to complete all the needed repair. Now, we just "kick the tires." I am thankful. I highly recommend Dr. McCurry.

I was not looking forward to getting side by side crowns on hard to reach molars, and the experience was pretty much as expected. What I didn't expect were the results. I just had the procedure YESTERDAY and I LOVE my new teeth. As a bonus, I've had no pain. Not even a little discomfort. I am not the easiest patient, and the doc / tech team handled the challenge with comforting ease. An even bigger plus -- the tech is a wizard with the needle. Hardly felt a thing.

Professional, extremely thorough. Friendly, on time-no waiting. You have confidence in this office to take top quality care inside your mouth. Kudos to a great dental team.

I’m terrified of dentists. It takes a lot of Novocain to deaden my mouth. He was great. He and his staff were great at putting me at ease. Also done all the work in one visit. I felt no pain.
