My 10 yr old son had his first visit with Southlake Family Dentistry yesterday afternoon. We had a great experience. Everyone there, especially the hygenist, Heather, and Dr. Sloan were very nice. Even though we have a longer drive to get here, it's definitely worth it. Speaking with Stephanie on an emergency after-hours call awhile back sealed the deal for the switch! So glad we chose to switch. I highly recommend them!

Five stars only because that's the maximum you can give. After avoiding the dentist's office for 12 - yes, a dozen years I went to Southlake Dentistry to get back on track. The staff from the front office to the dentist were all friendly and very helpful. During my initial visit they did xrays, photos and a full assessment. I was given a detailed breakdown of what was needed to restore my healthy smile. I liked that pricing for each recommended procedure was also listed so I could budget for the work that is to come. Today I went in for a 3 hour appointment for scaling and full tartar removal and cleaning. The thought of that much time in the chair was daunting but the reality was that thanks to Taylor, my hygienist the appointment flew by. Personable, friendly, professional and a big music fan she not only educated me on what she was doing and the subtleties of dental care but engaged me in discussions about everyone from Merle Haggard to Bill Withers to Michael Buble. 3 hours seemed more like 45 minutes. And WOW, my teeth look great. My experience there was absolutely awesome!

I had to have 2 crowns done on August 9th and Dr. Sloan took his time. He did not rush. Made sure I was comfortable. And I can't say enough about his staff. They are so personable and accommodating. They make sure you are taken care of.
