I have been a patient for seven years. Up until this year all of my visits were regular cleanings. This year the plan included replacing very old crowns. Dr Campbell and the staff really do make my dental visits a pleasure (believe it or not). They strive to make sure I am comfortable and relaxed prior to starting any procedure, and are continually assessing my comfort level. Their knowledge base is excellent and the attention to detail from basic cleanings to crown prep and crown seating is most commendable. All in all this is the place for all my dental needs.

I will preface this review with the fact that I have not been to the dentist in more than ten years. I have an enormous fear of them due to seeing two terrible dentists. After perusing the internet and reviews, I found Palmetto Smiles and Dr. Campbell. I am so lucky. Never once did Dr. Campbell or his staff make me feel embarrassed. They quickly calmed me and helped me dry my tears after my first examination. Dr. Campbell is quick to share his past dental problems and makes me feel that I am not the worst person in the world because of my lack of dental care. He has experienced all that I have with dental problems. It is easy to see that he truly values his patients and their comfort. I love him! You should also know that he definitely will try to entertain you as he treats you. Dr. Campbell always makes me feel comfortable. In fact, my daughter and I brag to each other when we have had the pleasure of seeing him. I never thought I would brag about my dentist! Also, this is a family practice, and his wife Amy is a wealth of knowledge. Although I hope this review does not pack his office and make it hard to see him and his staff, he and his staff deserve the most accolades for putting their patients first!

I’m very happy to be a patient of Dr Campbell’s. I’ve been with him since he and Amy moved to Charleston. Everyone there is very pleasant and helpful. Sarah does a great job as my dental hygienist. Dr Campbell is always very patient with me as I’m not real fond of dental procedures. He takes his time even with the needles so that the numbing meds get there ahead of the needle. I will be sticking with them.
