I have recently had some bad experience with a supposedly reputable local oral surgeons practice. They made mistakes in my treatment but for another $15,000 they could make corrections.
I went to Jason Solomon and he and his staff are very upfront about procedures and professional in my treatment. They have a lot of common sense. I highly recommend Solomon Dentistry for basic dentistry and especially if you need to have specialized work done.
I have been going to see Jason now for several months to fix my dental needs and my experience gets better every time I go.
Service is exemplary, prices are competitive and staff is more than personable and well trained.
I have lived in Charleston for 40 years and have been to many dentists, but I can honestly say there is no one better. They are the best in the tri county area.

Always very pleased with the dental hygienist and dentist. The administration of appointments and the staff working check-in could use improvement. Customer loyalty or longevity not a factor for consideration when having to reschedule an appointment. Never received a callback during a five month period… not a single cancellation? Also didn’t care to hear what the staff had on their social schedule while waiting to be checked in. Not a professional environment.

Had 10:00am appointment, Shari came and took me back after only few minutes wait. She is very engaging, always makes me smile. Always asking if I am doing ok or if I need anything. Does a fantastic job on my teeth. Dr Pepper is great, has helped me so much. Hope I can keep seeing them for many more years

Love Dr Dysart. She is patient and understanding which is nice when you have high anxiety going to the dentist. My only complaint is with the billing. They continually process my insurance as out of network when it’s in network. This happens every visit. Why can’t this problem be remedied?

Honest assessment:
The front desk called to confirm my appointment at 3pm the day before my appointment. I was in a meeting for work and had another meeting right after that one. I called after the office after they closed but obviously could not confirm the appointment. I received an email the next morning with the forms for checking in. I filled them out and submitted them. Fast forward to the appointment. I showed up. The receptionist said my appointment was canceled because I didn’t confirm the appointment. I explained that the only message or call that i received was during a meeting and I got the forms back as requested. She said they called me for 3 days. I checked my phone, nope. Just at 3pm the day before. To their credit, they did get me worked in. I got my teeth cleaned and got X-rays. The dental hygienist was great. She went to get the dentist, one was unavailable. She went to get the second one. After 16 minutes of waiting I was late for a meeting and had to leave.
