The staff and dentist were nice and they got my son in same day for wisdom teeth removal.
My issue is they gave me an estimate and I paid the amount before they did the procedure. After they get done with the procedure they say they had to use collagen filler and suddenly I was put on the spot to now have to pay an additional $100 before leaving (twice the amount I had been told the charge would be)
This now interferes with my insurance being able to cover a cleaning we scheduled (capped out now) and not to mention affects my trust with them going forward.
I’ve personally had multiple teeth pulled including wisdom teeth and never had collagen fillers, if this is something they might need then they should put that on the estimate to begin with. I was going to go here when I am ready to transition to dentures but now I am afraid that they will quote one price and then put me on the spot for additional money after.

Aspen dental was the best dental experience I have ever had! The dentist was kind, understanding, friendly and funny. His assistant, Tina, was a joy to have in the room. They both did everything possible to make me comfortable during my root canal including lavender essential oils, a warm blanket, a pillow, a rolled up one for my lower back because I recently had a back injury and they even played my kind of music that they sang along to during my procedure! I will never see another dentist! Tina, who handled all of the financial paperwork made the process easy, funny and very enjoyable, which never happens when I have to sign financial papers. I highly recommend Aspen dental to anyone who needs just a check up or a full blown procedure!!!

I went to Aspen Dental in Aberdeen SD. I had a very good outcome with everyone there. The hygienist , the assistants and the Dentist made sure I was not in pain and that I was doing ok. They took care of me and I highly recommend giving them a try. I have been here now a couple of times and had a crown done , teeth cleaning, x-rays ect… all went great! I had a wisdom tooth that had grown in place of another molar years ago, but at this time it had a cavity and was starting to abcess so I didn't want to hassle with infection and pain. Quick and easy procedure. Dr. Ly was accommodating and empathetic.

Aspen Dental staff at the Aberdeen SD facility was courteous and very knowledgeable. The staff Dentist was very understanding and explained his recommendations thoroughly.

4 trips to this place, no one has YET addressed the abscess, but was forcing my hubby to sign documents while in intense pain, so they can charge my insurance $8K. On our 4th trip, and THIS time they will address the abscess, or I will be getting testy. Also, Aspen dental has a 0 star for their after hours care...as in no call back and the woman was playing a video game and eating while we were working on what to do.

Went in for x-rays and an exam. I usually hate going to the dentist, but staff was extremely kind, attentive, and accommodating. The Dr was friendly and efficient - we made a dental plan and I'm actually not completely terrified to go back. Best dentist experience I've had.

The first set of x-rays and exam was free, which was what caught my attention. However, after the x-rays there was no exam. The dentist didnt even look in my mouth once. He checked the x-rays, gave me a couple sentences about areas of concern in the pictures and had to move on because of the busy schedule. I was then given a price on services to come back for and told to have a great day. The people were friendly but other than the office manager no one really seemed like they cared. No feeling of compassionate care. Ive since settled on another office in the area where you feel like youre being cared for by medical professionals that aim to help their patients rather than processed, quoted, and shown the door. Cant complain too much for a free appointment, but I'll definitely pay the price for quality care. Didnt leave a great first impression.

From the minute I met Dr. Ly, the professionalism and leadership was evident. He proved himself to be very knowledgeable in his craft. He explained all procedures in detail as he provided care. His demeanor was that of kindness and empathy, and he projected the sense that he generally cared for the patients under his care.
The positive environment is evident as you enter the office and can be directly attributed to the leadership displayed by Dr. Ly. The staff deserves a major shout out for their professionalism and the very personable behavior they render to their patients. I highly recommend, that all perspective patients consider Aspen Dental (Aberdeen, SD) for their dental care.
