Worst experience I've had. They care more about whether you have insurance than treating you, the patient. I have above average income due to having 2 jobs, but due to having only medical, and not dental, I was treated sub human. The dentist spent 3 minutes with me, no exam, when I said we weren't a good fit, I still got charged $92.00.

Just switched care to Dr. Rice Area Dental. Every visit so far has been wonderful! All of the staff is very kind and caring and *definitely* make you feel well taken care of. From a simple routine checkup to not-so-fun treatment visit—Dr.Rice and his assistant were amazing! They did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit and I definitely appreciate it!

How can you have a great time at a dental office?? Well, this practice made me feel like I had made new friends. I've only had the diagnostic and xrays so far, and it remains to be seen what my experience will be with future treatment that has potential to be painful...but staff has put me at ease. The dentist himself can really "dish it out," but he can also take it, so that was fun in itself. Definitely worthwhile to see if you can have a positive experience here. Finally, they are super helpful with insurance research and claims...the patient is not left to do all the detailed paperwork on their own.

The office is very laidback. Dr. Rice is practical and professional. My hygienist was very gentle but thorough, and her presence alone would be enough to make me go back. My entire family uses this practice, and everyone has always been pleased with their care.

Called with a problem, and the staff was very courteous and got me in quickly., Dr Rice was great. He discussed options and listened to my thoughts.
