I have been a patient there for a couple of years and the service is good. On a previous visit, I paid with my insurance. After a few weeks, the dental office calls me and states that there is a $40 balance because they messed up on my insurance paperwork. Today, I tried calling making another appointment and they told me that they sent my $40 balance to a collection agency because I didn’t pay it. Simply put, it was their error and I just figured I can pay the balance when I go in on my next visit. The receptionist did say after several calls and letters to my address, they have decided to send it to a collection agency with the other fees now my balance is $51. Yes, I received one statement but no phone calls. It was their error not mine! If you don’t know how to do insurance adjustments maybe another line of work is an option. Very disappointed with Ben Jensen Dental. Dr. Jensen is a cool man....very polite and professional to me. Maybe some retraining in the reception area is needed. Because if a mere $40 error on their part, I will go elsewhere. I am still in dismay that they turned me away for their mistake. Sad, very sad!

Unprofessional. When the work done didn't stand up (repeatedly), instead of working with me to solve the issue, he asked me to find another dentist. I was rather shocked, since keeping customers is always easier than finding new ones, but Dr. Jensen seems to have a big ego and a thin skin. One of the reception staff also told me there had been 100% staff turnover since my last visit. So I made an appointment with Neighborhood dental for next week. The nice thing about Jensen is that they can do same day crowns, but that's not an advantage when they fail repeatedly on the same tooth.
