Dr Barrows saw me out usual hours for an emergency appointment for which I am particularly grateful. He was very friendly and made me feel at ease and quickly identified the cause of my pain. A paragon of virtue. I had a dental emergency while on a cruise, I found myself in Dr. Barrows' chair and he was every bit the reassuring and honest professional that I had literally prayed to find.
I am the son of a DMD, I've seen the worst that's out there and Dr. Barrows was a godsend. He correctly identified my issue, and had me out the door within an hour with a very small charge and an antibiotic prescription to treat the sinus infection that was laying me out.
Thank you again, Dr. Barrows, for your help. I was completely pain free in 48 hours and very much able to enjoy the rest of my vacation.

My Dad is here to visit and the week before he had a tooth extracted. He started getting a lot of pain while visiting. Dr. Barrows was able to get him in the same day and was nothing but great. Him and his assistant were so kind. He was knowledgeable and figured out what was wrong. He does not take insurance (which on island they usually don't) but it was extremely reasonable.

I have lived on St. Thomas for almost 10 months. I was hesitant about finding a dentist, since I have gone to the same person for 15 years. Dr. Barrows did an excellent job. He spent time getting to know me and my dental habits, and he shared some great oral hygiene advice, all before he even began my routine dental cleaning. Dr. Barrows actually did his own work, and cleaned my teeth! That is unheard of in the states. Usually a hygienist does the "routine" work. He was very thorough, and checked to make sure I was comfortable throughout the process.
He and his wife, Kim, were very professional and courteous. Plus, their take home kit was like a "swag bag". Top notch! I would definitely recommend Dr. Barrows, and have decided to make him my dentist here on St. Thomas.

Dr. B is great! He always took the time to explain everything he was doing and the cost to me, no matter how long it took. He always presented me with options and seemed to have my best interests in mind. He was very understanding of my anxiety surrounding dental work, which is extremely important to me. His office is clean and everyone is friendly, and I would recommend him to anyone in the VI.

Dr. B gives a full explanation of what your options are for the dental work to be completed. Felt comfortable with his explanation and his prices are fair as well.
I hate pain and he was very sensitive to this fact and his approach makes the visits an overall pleasant experience.Best Dental experience in all of my 68 years on this planet.!!

Late review, Great dentist, On a cruise in 2018 I had a cap come loose on a front tooth and the cruise line gave me his info to visit while we stopped at the island. He got my cap fixed and now 2021 cap still on with no issues. Saved the vacation. Done fast enough we were able to see Magens Bay after he was done. Wish he was in Tampa area id make him my primary dentist for sure.
