Did not know what to expect but I was really pleased! Everyone I came in contact with was pleasant, professional and appeared interested in me and my outcome. My cost was more than reasonable and I look forward to resolving my dental problems with them.

So I have a Dental emergency with an infected tooth. They advertise $19 charges for new patient consult with X-rays. I call & they can't even see me for 2 weeks when I make it clear my face is swollen, I'm in pain and know I need an extraction on a broken tooth. Ffw to my visit- wait in line, wait almost an hour in waiting area, go back and see a very nice hygienist and X-rays rays are taken. Finally dentist comes in after another 30 mins spends all of 30 seconds looking in my mouth tells me I need 2 extractions. Offers no pain meds, no antibiotics, nothing except please see the payment coordinator & schedule extraction and some super expensive cleaning for supposed "early periodontitis" So I wait again to be seen by her and 25 mins later she's telling me they quote 12,000 dollars and when can we schedule this deep cleaning? I said I need the extractions first as it's terribly infected! Oh okay well that's 400 dollars and we require you to pay up front 60% of the cost. Never heard of this. I pay it & schedule myself. Show up on Friday on time. I had asked at the initial consult and the day before for something for my anxiety prior to the procedure and they couldn't be bothered to call in 2 pills for me. Asked again at appointment and they will extract the worst one and call in something for the next appointment. I'm unhappy but I agree. Then I go in the back that is not private rooms just partitions between patients and nobody wearing a mask. I sit for 25 mins and nobody comes to numb me. I get paperwork to sign for aftercare instructions, and they inform me they will not prescribe pain meds after an un-sedated extraction. I freak out bc this is not acceptable and the office manager argues with me for 20 mins and NOT ONCE does the dentist come in to speak with me. Then I'm informed I have to be rescheduled to 2 more weeks out (severely infected tooth no antibiotics) because they close in half an hour even after I've prepaid bc the dentist "isn't comfortable doing my extraction with this level of anxiety today" and will call in some Ativan for my next appointment. I begrudgingly acquiesce, and rescheduled
They still have almost $400 of my money. I walk out to the car after complaining that my fiance already took off work today and this is really inconvenient. They tell HIM that they'll refund my payment in 3-5 business days. I am still thinking I have an appointment. Yesterday I get a letter via FedEx that I'm no longer a patient and will not be serviced at any location! So I call them and they tell me it's 5-10 business days before I'll receive my refund for work THEY NEVER DID!!! SO now I have an infected tooth, and have to self pay somewhere else while waiting for them to refund my almost $400 so I don't die of sepsis before getting this extraction. I'm going to see what happens tomorrow when I go in and ask for my records. Beware of what one petty customer can achieve. But FR ZERO out of 5 stars do NOT recommend at all!!!

Got a convenient appointment. Very efficient and helpful. I will finally get lower dentures at a good price and hopefully before the next appointment date

The office staff was super nice, but other than that I won't be back. They are forcing people into buying treatment they don't need/can't afford and then refusing service if you don't agree with it or need to do part of the treatment at a later date. Very disappointed with how it's ran. I'm going back to my old dentist even though they don't accept my insurance because I'd rather pay out of pocket than go back to Aspen.

Im very upset at Aspen ! NOT this branch in particular but at their Corporation. If You fail to answer your phone a day before your appt. they will automatically cancel your appt. In 49 Years of Life this is the FIRST place in a Medical Field that has Ever cancelled an appointment without me specifically telling them to do so. I am a trucker and work 14 hour shifts daily. I stressed to get from PA to deliver in Hickory, NC then went as fast as possibly thru the mountains to get to Bristol to just learn my appointment was Cancelled for failure to confirm ? Why in Gods Name do I need to CONFIRM something thats Already Set !!! Ill find a New Dentist I do believe !

Really love how everyone is professional and welcoming. Took really good care of my teeth, exam my teeth more than I have ever been in the past from any other dentist office. Definitely give Aspen Dental 5 stars, highly recommend! I go to Bristol Virginia Aspen clinic, you'll be just as pleased.
