Been scared of the dentist for years, Jefferson dental was recommended by a friend, my first visit was a consult exam and plan to do work. The whole staff was friendly courteous, it was a pleasant experience. Went back today to have the extractions done, the doctor and nurse were friendly, professional, and did everything they could to help with my anxiety and fear. I would definitely recommend Jefferson dental to anyone who needs a dentist.

I arrived on time to my 1:30pm appt and was not called back to be seen until we’ll after 2, after X-rays and another 30 mins of waiting, the dr comes in looks at my X-rays and says my Thoth needs to be pulled. The same tooth I was seen for in December 2021 with an abscessed gum for which I was referred out to and Endodontist to have “retreated” with another root canal, to be told nonchalant ly and with no explanation other than sometimes root canals “don’t fix” the problem and at this point is recommended I have it pulled out. Also I had been told by the Endodontist that I had a very small cavity ( April 2022) at this visit I hear the nurse point it out and Dr says “we will monitor” I don’t want another root canal so I ask if it will be fixed and was told it could be if I “wanted “ like wth? So finally at 3:30 ish the hygienist comes in to start the deep cleaning that was recommended and the filling would also be done. At this point I’ve been in the office since 1:30 with my 7 year old and I simply could not hang around for another hour or more to get the cleaning I come in for. I opted to reschedule, but I have no intention on going back to this place and will be seeking a second opinion on my dx and treatment plan.

I highly recommend Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics! I did my research on different Orthodontic clinics. Once I arrived at Jefferson’s it was no reason to go anywhere else. They explain my process and answer all my questions and concerns. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

This place is so unorganized, they need better experienced front desk staff with a positive attitude. I requested to have extractions and they scheduled me for fillings instead. After going to the back with the DA I explained to her that I had called 3 times to confirm it would be extractions. I was told that sometimes the call center answers the phone, and they don’t know what they are talking about. This place is a joke!!! Do NOT waste your time or money with this unprofessional place.
