When I first started using Dr. Joel Smith, I had horrible anxiety. Now he explains procedures to me and if it is anything invasive he will mildly sedate me. He and his staff are so nice to me. In fact, a few years ago I moved to Galveston. I transferred all my healthcare to UTMB. But, I refused to change my dentist. I drive back and forth to Beaumont every 3 months for my cleanings and check ups. I have this much faith in both Dr. Smith and his staff for all my dental needs.

Had a major extraction procedure with bone grafts today. All went well. It was completely painless! Dr. Smith and his staff were GREAT! Very patient, very gentle, very kind. Took their time with me and never seemed rushed. I was very anxious about the procedure but it couldn't have gone better. I am a medical professional so I pay close attention to everything.
