In 2017 I was having difficulty finding a dentist with the training I needed in Tennessee. After making many calls and speaking with some educators in the dental field I found Dr. Sergie and traveled from TN to see him. Nearly every other dentist I had previously seen had insisted on a crown and other more aggressive therapies which would require a very aggressive reduction in tooth structure, thereby shortening the life of the tooth. On top of this, no one had an answer as to why my fillings would fail so quickly compared to other people. Dr. Sergie was insightful, and knew how to treat my case conservatively. It was the best dental work I'd ever had and on a personal level I really enjoyed my time with him and his office staff. Dentists like Dr. Sergie are a rare find - they hunt for answers and strive for excellence well beyond what is considered 'the standard'. Dr. Sergie has an exceptional attention to detail in his work. The restorative work he did for me is still going strong and I expect it will continue to function well beyond expectations.

I’ve been going to In Focus for about 3 years and I’ve never been disappointed with their awesome team! My dental hygienist there is gentle, caring, and thorough with my cleanings. Dr. Sergie always has an upbeat attitude and is sincere during consultations.
On a Friday appointment I asked about their teeth whitening solutions and they gave me a great break down of the options. I wanted to do the whitening trays for home use and they said no problem, took a couple molds, and said to pick them up Monday. The whole thing added only 20 min to my appointment!

Best Doctor experience I have EVER had. Dr. Sergie is incredibly personable as well as a very talented and knowledgeable dentist. The most sincere doctor I have ever interacted with. Went the extra mile to make me and my husband feel comfortable and taken care of, explaining each step and all options in each of our appointments and never being pushy. I cannot recommend him enough. The facilities were beautiful and very up to date as well. We are moving out of state and I can honestly say I am in part regretting the decision solely because I wish we could continue to see Dr. Sergie! Really really impressive.

Erica is a great dental hygienist and is super thorough at cleaning your teeth, while also fun to talk with. And Dr. Sergie himself is very knowledgeable and skilled as a dentist, keeps up to date with the latest tools and trends, and works flexibly with the patient to make them feel comfortable while ultimately ensuring the right dental health decisions are made. As long as this dentist is around, I have no need to go anywhere else!

I put off having any dental work for almost 8 years because apprehension and fear of the dentist office. However, after having visited Dr. Sergie for consultation and cleaning I felt comfortable enough to schedule much needed work. A crown procedure and a few old fillings replaced and Dr. Sergie has alleviated my anxiety of visiting the dentist.
