Connor Family Dentistry

It's a great place, the staff is very friendly and Dr Connor is awesome. I broke a tooth, saw be right away, I had to go somewhere else to get a root canal, but after that, they saw be to put in the crown. They did the imaging and have a machine that does the crown on site, and in a couple of hours I was good to go.

I went to Connor Family Dentistry with a condition that Dr. Connor determined would require a root canal. He referred me to a clinic that specializes in root canals, but the appointment was not for another two days. I was in quite a lot of pain, so I asked if he could give me something for pain management. He told me to take a combination of Tylenol and Ibuprofen, and that was it. He dashed out before I could tell him that I can't take Ibuprofen due to a gastrointestinal condition. So, I went home and took Tylenol. That accomplished precisely two things: Jack, and Squat.
My tooth got more infected, and my face swelled up. I was in agony for two days waiting on my referral appointment. When I went, the other doctor asked if I'd gotten any antibiotics and I replied, "No, just OTC Tylenol."
I know that dentists are more reluctant to prescribe pain medication due to the opioid crisis, but my condition was obvious. There's no reason I should have been left to suffer for two days, and I should have AT LEAST been prescribed antibiotics.
The second problem was the office staff. I am self-employed, and I do not have dental insurance. But I told the staff that I would pay in full at the end of each visit. As far as I was concerned, that should have been the end of it. Nonetheless, they made me feel like a second-class citizen by constantly bringing up my No Insurance status. I even listened to one of them refer to me as "No Insurance" on the phone rather than by my name. On top of that, this office staff worker repeated back the wrong information for my referral appointment. If the referral clinic had not sent me a text on the day of my appointment, I would have gone to the wrong place. During the scope of dealing with my dental issue, I tried to call the Westside office of Connor Family Dentistry multiple times during business hours only to be transferred directly to voice mail. It seems they answer the phone when they darn well please.
Overall, I found the office staff to be demeaning, disrespectful, and unprofessional. As far as Dr. Connor himself, he had a nice enough demeanor, and there was no problem with the actual work he did (he put in the permanent filling after my root canal.) However, I cannot fathom why he did not prescribe antibiotics or why he was, apparently, okay with me suffering for two days while I waited on my referral appointment.
I have some other dental procedures that I need to address, so I was looking for a long-term dentist. After my experience at Connor Family Dentistry, I'm going to keep looking. This place felt like a meat market. No respect, no personal touch, no consideration for a patient in pain. Unacceptable!

I took my son here to get a filling and we had a great experience. Dr. Estrada was very thorough, professional and very knowledgeable. All the staff to include the receptionist as well as the dental hygienist are very respectful and courteous. I’d been looking for years to find a good family dentists after bad experiences at several locations in El Paso and Connor Family Dentistry in Zaragosa is by far, the best experience we’ve had. They were also great at explaining to us what and what not our insurance would cover. I highly recommend this office. Also might I add, the entire location was very clean and organized. You can tell all the staff take pride in their job and workplace.

Our family have been patients of Dr. Connor for almost 10 years, each and every team member including Dr Connor have made us feel like we are more than just patients. We are like family, they care and they always go the extra mile to provide with the best care possible. I recommend them to everyone looking for quality treatment and professional care. They are by far the best!!

I have been seeing Dr. Connor for about 4 years now. He has been the best dentist I've ever been to. He has ALWAYS gotten me in same day when I needed it and has ALWAYS treated me with respect and been a real professional. He has brand new equipment and his staff is always warm and welcoming. He can make your crown on site while you wait. Don't believe the other reviews. They do not represent my or my wife's experience with Dr. Connor.

My wife and I recently moved back to El Paso after being away for over 30 years. We had to find doctors for our health needs, one of them a being a dentist. Dr. Connor's office was recommended and we took a chance and made appointments. Wow! were we pleasantly surprised. We got really quick appointments although we were new patients. We arrive on the day of our appointments and were quickly registered and taken to exam rooms. We were very impressed at how modern and well equipped the office is. Everything looks state of the art. Dr. Connor is not just about teeth, we got 3D full head x-rays and he assessed our jaw, airways, sinuses and a whole lot more. We both were examined and got cleanings and a couple of issues were identified. We have appointments to go back and address them already. Dr. Connor saw us after the hygienist and explained everything patiently and clearly so we understood. Not in a hurry at all. All the staff from the front desk to the back were friendly and polite. So glad Dr. Connor was recommended to us. We have our dentist in El Paso for good!

I really enjoy having Dr. Connor as my dentist. His office is clean and his staff is very friendly and attentive. I have extreme dental sensitivity from years of sucking on lemons and limes (don't do that FYI) and at previous dentist offices I would leave in tears after a routine cleaning. With Dr. Connor his hygienist really listen when I say I prefer manual tooth scaling VS the water pick tool that just really hurts when you have sensitivity as bad as mine. It takes a bit longer to do my cleaning, but they don't mind. That makes the whole experience a much more comfortable one. I really would recommend anyone to go visit Dr. Connor and his staff.

Really impressed with Connor Famliy Dentistry. As a business owner, I recognize when places are run very smoothly. Going to the dentist is NOT one of my favorite things, but my family of four went this week and everything was very well done. Staff, dental hygienists and dentist were quick, kind, did not push for any bells and whistles, and made my two kids very comfortable. We will continue to go here. We have minimal dental insurance but they knew the approximate amount I would owe because they call before you even sit down in the chair. Great job!

Dr. Connor and his staff are absolutely the best. They saw me quickly and the visit was painless. Front office staff is always helpful and accommodating and his assistant Diana was very courteous and helped put me at ease as I was quite nervous. I highly recommend Connor Dentistry.
