My wonderful dentist retired and a broken tooth forced me to look for a new dentist. Having had a really traumatic experiece with a dentist in my teens this is a quest that raises my blood pressure. Over the years i have gotten better due to some really good care but it is difficult still. So having checked reviews and committed I called El Paso Quality Dentistry and was blessed to have Amory answer and talk me through the process of filling out the paperwork and making an appointment. The conversation was calming and professional but personal. Nothing mechanical or confusing. She asked questions as if she really cared about my circumstance and getting me started toward good care. There were no embarrassing judgements about the length of time since i last saw a dentist. There was just concern that i get the proper care.
So today i saw Dr. Sosa after a very short wait in a calming and relaxing waiting room...I had gotten there early. The entire staff was kind and helpful. Xrays were taken for just the procedure i was there to have evaluated, no pushing for more than my current need. The Dr. answered every one of my questions. During the exam he told me just before he did snything what to expect and his descriptions were accurate and reassuring. He explained options clearly and helped me choose what would be best for me working around and up coming trip. He also explained some of the things i had been wondering about related to my mouth and teeth care. Not once did i feel rushed. He did not divide his time to see more than one patient in a time period. The cost was exactly what i had been told and it was reasonable. I was scheduled for the repair work and a writen estimate provided for the next stage. Possible complications were explained but i have had enough work done to know these are standard concerns.
Overall i think this dental office has the patient as their priority and the entire team seems to be committed to patient care and clear communication. I was glad to be able to fill out paperwork online. I am glad i found this dentist and decided that because i had used reviews to find them maybe i could encourage someone else who has been putting off dental care or someone new to the area to choose these folks for dental care.

Dr. Sosa is probably one of the most personable and kind Dentists I've ever met in my life. I HIGHLY recommend him. Today was my first visit. The only reason I will not be able to keep seeing him is because he is out-of-network for me, which I did not realize until AFTER the appointment.
