Stein Dentistry

Went in for a crown placement on a root canal tooth, a year later find out never had a crown but a huge filling. Found out when felt a piece come out and went to a dentist that informed me never had a crown done even though my insurance got billed for a crown as well as I.

I’m new to the area and needed an appointment right away. I asked some coworkers and Stein Dentistry came highly recommended. They were able to get me an appointment the next morning. I am incredibly thankful.

I am so happy our family found this place. Daniela the hygienist is very professional and has helped me with my gums. She explains everything as she's working with you. I highly recommend her! Daniela always has a positive attitude and is very thorough in her teeth cleaning.

I had a really good experience here INITIALLY. It was an emergency and the staff/Dr. Stein were super professional. However, I just called for my yearly + teeth cleaning and they are unable to see me until November??? It is June. How is that possible? If they do not want my money, sure, I will go somewhere else. I was even going to switch my wife over to this practice. Having to move dentists makes me really sad because I really liked Dr. Stein, but if they are unwilling/unable to see me until 6 months from now, I will take my business and my recommendations to friends/family somewhere else. As well, the lady on the phone was extremely short, rude, and uninterested in talking with me. I would not have spent the time to write this negative review if it wasn't for her attitude. I get that places in El Paso are swamped, but her unprofessionalism is what prompted all of this. Honestly, she sounded like I was bothering her when she picked up the phone to talk with me. Overall, fantastic DDS, but they obviously need more staff and possibly some customer service training.

I took my mom to her appointment and she was really pleased with the customer service she received from the staff, especially from Mary Lou the substitute hygienist. She took her time and shared valuable knowledge and listened to my mothers concerns. The dentist Dr. Stein was also great and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Daniela was my dental hygienist. She is amazing! She makes sure you know what procedure will be give and everything that she will be doing. Very friendly and kind! HIGHLY recommend.

Dr. Stein is absolutely wonderful. I needed a second opinion on some suggested dental procedures, so I called around to several dentists in El Paso and many wanted over $80 just to look inside my mouth (I already had my x-rays). Dr. Stein gave me his second opinion for free. Despite that, he spent at least 20 minutes with me, giving me a careful exam and pretty much destroying the previous dentist's evaluation. Dr. Stein is knowledgeable, kind, gentle, and warm. He very clearly puts his patients above profit, and he could have easily agreed with my previous dentists and charged me for unnecessary dental work (I ended up not needed anything done). He goes out of his way to make his patients feel warm and welcome. I'll absolutely be returning to Dr. Stein for all my future dental needs!

I get my cleanings with Daniela and she has been fantastic! Her advice has been very helpful, and my teeth and gums are better for it. Plus, she is always fun to talk with. Highly recommend!
