I have been seeing Dr. Maxwell for almost 5 years now and he is the best dentist I have ever seen. His office runs efficiently and smoothly, there are never any billing surprises, and his technical expertise is unmatched. I have been unfortunate enough to have a root canal on almost every molar in my mouth, and always found the recovery process extremely painful, requiring narcotic pain medication and several days or even a week of soft foods. I've had two root canals, including one on a severely infected root, with Dr. Maxwell and both times all I needed was some Tylenol for that evening and the next day and no diet modification. I wish I had found him sooner!

Dr Maxwell uses much technology to insure the most pain free and comfortable experience possible for the patient. The staff used three different XRay technologies from portable to stationary to get a complete picture of the needed work and to track their work's progress insuring all damage was treated while minimizing encroachment into good tooth material. A wand was used to scan a tooth giving the crown designer an image with exact measurements to design a crown with no need for repeated whittling, eyeballing and reseating of the crown. I had much work done over a three hour period. I had many shots with no pain because Dr Maxwell used a vibrating wand that negated any injection sensitivity Great staff!!

I will NOT be going back to this dentist. I have no problems with the hygenists but a HUGE problem with the dentist. I had a root canal done by dr maxwell a few years ago. Well about a year ago I had intense pain in that tooth. I found out it was infected bc HE did not clean out all the canals. So scary. This can lead to a whole array of negative health consequences I found out by researching about because I was so scared. I went back to him and he said he couldn’t do it (and I wouldn’t want him to anyways) but he referred me to a specialist. I had yet ANOTHER root canal done. She said it didn’t turn out great and now I have to get another, more complicated surgery just because of dr maxwells carelessness. I understand this a rare problem but it’s terrifying what happened to me and the pain and financial stress it has caused me is one of the worst things i have had to deal with in my life. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone.
