From childhood to adulthood in my 30's I had extreme overcrowding of my teeth. Every time I go the dentist I have severe anxiety. My latest visit to the dentist was for a dental implant at Rio Vista Dentistry by Dr. James. Despite my overwhelming anxiety, I could not have hoped for a more pleasant experience being under the care of Dr. James and his staff for this procedure. The procedure (removal of a broken tooth, the placement of a dental implant and that of a bone graft), to include the numbing of the site, was completely painless. In addition to the procedure itself being painless, once the numbing medication to the site wore off and without the use of any pain medication to include Tylenol, I never experienced any pain during the healing process. I highly recommend Dr. James, Dr. Bonnie and Rio Vista Dentistry to anyone who needs a dental implant or any other dental work and wants it to be done to 100% perfection without any pain.

Dr. James and Hortencia are incredible at what they do! Everything was very professional from the front office staff to the exam. Hortencia made me feel comfortable and is very friendly. The latest technology is amazing! I noticed positive results right away! The attention to detail is outstanding! Super grateful for Rio Vista Dentistry! I've been going to this dentistry for years but for the first time I would have to see Dr. Bonnie Villarreal. I was very nervous because I had never had to see her, but what helped was she was always so happy when I would see her around the office. As I said previously I was very nervous for my procedure. As I sat in the chair she could tell, she told me to take a deep breath. She explained exactly what was about to happen and told me she's done this a million times. In these trying times knowing exactly what was about happen really put me at ease. Dr. Bonnie Villarreal is amazing at what she does and the procedure went as smooth as butter. Any time a friend or family needs a dentist I have always recommended her office. Now that I have experienced her work first hand, I now know the recommendation has always been exceptional.

I have been to many dentists in my lifetime. Dr. Bonnie is,by far, the best dentist I have been to. She takes her time and listens to you. She stays up to date in technology and will do most conservative treatment to protect your real teeth. I was terrified if dentists before but now that has improved because if her. I would highly recommend her. I have sent all my family members to her and they continue to use her.

Dr. James is an excellent dentist. He has a great chair side manner. He also takes the time to explain why he is performing certain procedures. I broke my tooth and he and his staff attended to me immediately. I highly recommend his office for professional services.

I had scheduled an appointment to see Dr. Bonnie Villarreal because I was experiencing bad jaw pain and it stemmed down my neck and into my shoulders. I had caught myself grinding my teeth at night and thought maybe this was the problem. I was a little nervous as I hadn’t been to the dentist in years, but Dr. Villarreal and her staff have been just AMAZING. I was fitted for a guard on my first appointment and it was ready a few weeks later. After just one night wearing the guard I could feel so much relief. My jaw wasn’t hurting the next day and my teeth had no soreness at all. I continue to wear it while I sleep and every day I wake up and take my guard out it just amazes me how much better I feel. Dr. Villarreal and her staff are very professional, kind and understanding. If you are looking for a dentist or have been having any jaw, teeth or head pain I defy recommend seeing Dr. Villarreal at Rio Vista Dentistry.

Everyone at Rio Vista is so welcoming! Dr. James does a great job at explaining everything and Sally, the dental hygienist, was awesome. I definitely recommend them both! The office is also very clean and I never have to wait long to be seen. Great place!

After my consultation I know I am in good hands! I’m looking forward to gaining tht Confidence with my teeth being done by Dr.Bonnie and her assistant Marisol. They are very Professional and detailed on what’s going to be done. This is the very 1st dental office I have been to go over details or to do a Consultation with so much care and concern for me as the patient. They got the right tools! 🤗
