I love this practice. Friendly faces at every corner, quality care, and very convienent if you work in downtown. They understand office culture and offer early morning and lunch appointments to help accommodate your schedule. Can usually be seen on the same day if there is an emergency. Dr pagel has done my Invisalign as well as some fillings and I could not be happier with the results. Painless, clear expectations and pricing from the moment any treatment is discussed and he will answer any questions with compassion and patience. Even if I move away from Houston I will still make the trip to continue coming here.

Hands down, best dentist office in downtown! I asked all of my friends who has a dentist they like and would they recommend them for me? Of 12 recommendations, only 2 were up to the the standards and care we all deserve and appreciate, Downtown Dentist is my dentist of choice and helped me when I needed them the most, after a dentist nightmare by just going to “the nearest dentist to me”, a mistake I will never make again.

Dr Pagel, Dr Lyons, and downtown dentist office staff are super nice. Always professional, attentive, friendly, and encouraging. I’ve been with the office for over ten years and really enjoy working with the team. I’ve had two implants done at the the office, and they work really well. In particular, I like the way Dr. Pagel explains any decision making process (I always want to know why and how), and my hygienist Marcie is the best! She shared so many tips of teeth cleaning with me and always encourages me to do a good job at home. I genuinely like the office, thank you all!

My husband and I have now been to Dr. Pagel’s office for two appointments and could not be more pleased. Dr. Pagel is fantastic, knowledgeable, personable, and helps you understanding exactly what is going on. Qualities I look for in a dentist. My husband dislikes all medical appts and he likes Dr. Pagel too!!!! Vanessa cleans my teeth and I just adore her. She is sweet and does a great job. Same with Marcy for my husband. He said she is the best hygienist he has ever had! I would HIGHLY recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Betty Albers for 30 years. She is a fantastic dentist and great communicator with her patients. My wife now sees her as well and Dr. Albers helped my mom with a crown during the early days of Covid. The entire practice is terrific ... from the hygienists to the front office staff. Scheduling and insurance handled seamlessly. Highly recommend.

She does her own cleanings so she can see for herself whether there are any issues (rather than rely on a hygienist to spot them). She’s frank and honest about the current state of my dental health.
