I called All Valley Dental Associates, specifically asked for an appointment with Dr. Adrian Perez. I went in for the appointment with Adrian Perez. The first day I went there, Dr. Perez met with me briefly after the x-rays were done, and he said I needed “deep cleaning” which needed to be approved by the insurance company even though routine cleaning didn’t and I only requested routine cleaning. No cleaning was done. I got a call to go in for deep cleaning.
When I went in for deep cleaning, I was told it would only do my right side, and I had to return for the left side, because of the insurance company’s requirement.
When Dr. Perez first met with me, he never mentioned I had new cavities. On the day of the deep cleaning, he drilled on two of my teeth that I thought were healthy, despite the wear, there’s no cavity, and put fillings in.
He then scheduled me to return for the left side. He never told me I would be getting a different dentist.
When I returned for the left side deep cleaning the next day, I was surprised to see Dr. Amary Herrera introducing herself as Dr. Perez’s mother. She said Dr. Perez was at another clinic.
Dr. Herrera was extremely incompetent. The entire procedure was like a water torture. There’s medicine in my mouth for numbing purpose, there’s debris from her drilling my perfectly good teeth, there’s debris from cleaning. My mouth was full of those and water, in order to breathe, I was forced to swallow it. Add insult to the injury, she broke my teeth in the process.
Doctors’ oath was “first, do no harm,” and yet these two doctors would choose profit over professional ethics. Drilled on teeth that didn’t need work in order to get insurance money.
After the work from Amary Herrera, I have problem flossing the teeth she drilled. Not only it breaks the dental floss, but also hurts my teeth/nerve when I floss. I went in for routine teeth cleaning, but left worse than when before I went in.
