HORRIBLE Phone wait!!! The skinny Mexican chick at the front desk has the absolute saltiest attitude. She cared very little about verify my insurance. Worst place in MIDLAND. She told me I don’t care who you call. I left my job to be on time for for my appointment and had to find a sitter. She spent less than 10 seconds speaking to me& ruined my Saturday afternoon!!!! SO UNPROFESSIONAL 🤭😬😑

Very nice and friendly staff and makes you feel comfortable while there. I am very satisfied with the dentist she took care of my sons teeth really well and he was happy with the results. The front desk staff while some were in training everything was done and very prompt on getting things done. Thanks to the staff great job my son will be back

I really hate having to write a negative review given that every Doctor I have seen have been nothing short of awesome. However, Familia Dental, you need to step back and take a serious look at your front desk team. I can tell you that my military insurance is great and on my very first appointment, I waited for 2 hours and 13 minutes to check. I was obviously way past my appointment time. I constantly asked what the delay was with an answer of," I'm not sure". Well find out. They have no respect for the patients and seriously have no respect for anyone's time. It typically takes 10 to 15 minutes tops to run someone's insurance plan. So after waiting an extensive amount of time, I walked back to the desk and asked if there was any new information. This when the truth came out. " We don't run the insurance from here, another company does that and they already left for the day". I obviously walked out. There has been a few other problems since then such as booking wrong time or wrong day. And then there was yesterday. I pulled my daughter out of school early which caused her to miss an exam, I show up for a 3 pm appointment that was scheduled 4 days prior. When I scheduled the appointment I went over the treatment plan with the lady to ensure that there were no surprises with cost or treatment. Lady said yes, we have a core buildup and crown molding. I said correct. So I show up 20 minutes before and this lady is like, we have two cavities, I asked what are you talking about its a core build up with crown. I waited while she went to find out what the mixup was. She returns and said we can't do it today because whoever booked it put it down for a 1 hour block and the procedure is 2 hours. My daughter was in some pain but that wasn't important to them . She kept saying I apologize and I'm sorry but that doesn't give me or my daugjters time back. She scheduled me for 9 am the next day. Luckily there was some bad weather and school was canceled. I received a call at 8:17 am to let me know the appointment was pushed back to 10. Fine. I show up with my daughter at 9:28 am and my daughter wasn't seen until 10:37. Familia Dental, your office staff needs some help. I may not be a Doctor, but mine and my daughters time is just as important as anyone elses.
I will say this, there are two girls that are pretty nice, but none of them will give you an update unless you ask or get upset and none of them seem to have a sense of urgency.
From all the other reviews I have read, I am not the only one that sees this issue.
