MINT dentistry | North Richland Hills

Made an appointment to have my teeth cleaned. That is all. I explained to lady taking my appointment that I had a regular dentist- but my appointment was canceled due to an emergency. Not wanting to forfeit my 2 visits a year cleaning by my insurance- I decided to use mint for my cleaning. 2 pm appointment. I was taken back at 2:30. Lady was wanting to do
X-ray. Which my insurance would not pay for as I had them 6 months earlier. Ended up leaving without my teeth cleaned. I can understand they have a policy- but they might want to share it with the appointment desk. A waste of my time and also the hygienist time.

First of all, they offer a free gift with a review. I think that’s the only reason for so many “positive reviews”

Not impressed. They are a business model for sure. I’ve gone to my family dentist my entire life. It was a lot more personal. This was such a waste of my time. The dentist was subpar and was just interested in selling stuff. The hygienist didn’t do a good job cleaning at all. I can still feel plaque on my teeth and my gums are all bleeding. There are 3 teeth she didn’t even touch when cleaning (my back molars). She also didn’t clean the top of any molars at all. My gums hardly ever bleed during cleanings. I can literally feel my heart beat in my gums as I write this. (20 minutes after the cleaning).
Also why would the dentist look at my teeth prior to a cleaning. That makes no sense.

Update- They also said I have 4 cavities. I am friends with my old dental hygienist who retired. She checked out my teeth immediately after the appointment and there is no cavity. There are a few teeth I need to watch out for but they don’t need fillings. They aren’t soft and I took a picture of the x-ray with my phone and showed her. She said my enamel is only thin on 1 tooth but it’s not to the point of needing a filling. I’ve never had a true cavity in my entire life (I’m 28). I have had small craters form but they weren’t cavities, my old dentist (retired) filled them just to prevent the crater from becoming a cavity. When I told them that the dentist at Mint laughed and said those were cavities.They’re just out to make money.

Update: 3 hours later, my gums are still in a lot of pain and my teeth are aching. This has never happened in my entire life. I’ve gone to the dentist every 6 months since I was 2 years old.

Update: 36 hours later my gums still hurt and bleed when I brush my teeth. It’s like there’s cuts all over them and I reopen the cut Everytime I brush. And my gums have several red spots. I’ve never suffered from gingivitis, the dentist even said my gums looked great.

This place is a scam and will lie to you and try to do fillings and caps (or whatever they’re called) even if you don’t actually need it. They will claim it’s preventative but drilling a permanent hole in teeth is not preventative.

This place is absolutely amazing, front desk was so kind to me explain everything and all my options!
Lady in the back are just as great walking me through ever step! Never feel blind sided here ! I will definitely be back & continue my work to sexy teeth with mint in NRH!!

It’s somewhat nice on the inside. They put me in a dirty room that seemed to be for storage. Removed my wisdom teeth and had to put stitches in my mouth… and only prescribed ibuprofen….. don’t believe the hype. Will be going else where for my other dental needs.

Nikki did an excellent job with my dental cleaning today. She was very friendly and polite and very informative during the process. Thank You again for taking care of me today 🌹

Recently had to get a crown started. I don't do well with needles. Doctor and staff were amazing. When I say braced for it and literally felt nothing, I mean it. That office took care of me. They know what they're doing! Icing on the cake that is multicultural. Helps me feel comfortable. (I'm just weird like that, I guess)

If I could give 1 star I would. Got on a payment plan for a "cleaning" over a year ago and have not used them since. I have not received any invoices or billing statements and still making payments on it. Have not missed one single payment. They won't tell me balance and they pulled an additional $140 out of my account without my consent or prior notice and won't tell me why and have not confirmed a refund on it. Directs me to call a number that goes straight to voicemail. No one answers or responds. Called corporate office they too will not tell me my balance. This company is a con company from this single location in North Richland Hills all the way up to corporate. Take your money elsewhere they are cons.

When I first walked in the door, I was immediately greeted by the receptionist in a warm, professional and genuine manner. My financial planner was very polite and easily explained the payment process and answered all my questions. Doctor C did a GREAT job on my teeth. The whole staff was awesome. To be honest with you, I will NEVER change my dentist. Mint Dentistry is the place to go. Great experience!

If I could I would give zero stars. I often go to the north Richland hills location for myself and my kids has another provider I take them to. This time around I decided to make an appointment for us all to go. The day of our appointment the dentist advised that I had no cavities my daughter had no cavities however my son had 4…. Of course I declined having those cavities filled and took him elsewhere for a second opinion because he saw the dentist six months prior, how could this be possible.. After the second dentist reviewed the X-rays that mint dentistry sent over she advised that my son had no cavities. So I then called their corporate office to let them know and they told me that they would get back to me however it’s been months and they still have not gotten back to me… I would suggest if you’re going to continue going here and need work done always get a second opinion. This place does good work but beware of unnecessary dental work they may tell you you need.
