First time visit exceptional services!!! Dr. Lauren was extremely professional she took her time and explained everything. Personable, friendly, affordable, great music and definitely made me feel comfortable. Lauren was extremely helpful, so was the entire office staff. Thanks to everyone for such great experience!!!!! I highly recommend the About Smiles South Austin location specifically! Dr. Gretchen Hoover and her staff are amazing! They make you feel comfortable, especially if you have a little anxiety going to the dentist. I was scared to go at first because it had been a while since I had been, but that fear is gone thanks to them. Thank you so much for the amazing service you provide!

My crown came off later in the day on Friday before the thanksgiving break. I called and Crystal said to come right in and they would work me in even though they were closing soon. Dr. Lauren and April took wonderful care of the me and got my crown put back on so I didn't have to be uncomfortable the entire weekend. Thanks so much for the great care!!!

The staff is very friendly and personable but the level of care received was terrible. Dr. Lauren performed a crown procedure to fix a cracked tooth and the pain became much worse than before. In addition to that, the crown ended up being double the price the office originally quoted me, and they didn’t tell me until after the procedure.
I saw Dr. Lauren several times to get the crown adjusted, and the pain never got better so she told me I needed a root canal. I went to an endodontist for the root canal, and surprise surprise it STILL didn’t fix the pain. Went back to Dr. Lauren for several more adjustments…and after almost 10 adjustments and what seemed like half of the crown shaved off my tooth finally started feeling normal again. Never in my life did I think a procedure to fix the issue would actually make it exponentially worse. Do yourself a favor and go to a different dentist.

Very friendly staff. However, I had a cavity filled here about 6 months ago, went in for three different adjustments, and am still having pain on that side of my mouth. I would not recommend this dentist.

I transferred my dental records here from another dentist office that didn’t seem to really know what was going on.
The ladies at the front staff were extremely nice a friendly. They were able to tell me exactly what I needed from my previous dental office as well as from my obgyn (since I’m currently pregnant).
April was so awesome! I absolutely loved her. She was friendly and personable. Not only that, but she already knew what was going on. She took the time to find out about me before I got into the dental chair.
Dr. Siegert was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything to me. Some things, other dentists never took the time to explain, such as why my teeth aren’t so white despite the fact that I don’t smoke nor drink much coffee.
They were also able to get me in on days that work best for me, which I truly appreciate since I have a million appointments.
I’m so happy I decided to switch and go with this dental office. This will definitely be my go-to for dental needs!
