Round Rock Modern Dentistry

Update: (RRMD sent me another person x-ray...no surprise again!!! I would give them a zero if I could. I'm fortunate to have found another Dentist office who was willing to do a FREE x-ray)

So I called RR Modern Dentistry requesting my x-ray to be sent to an oral surgeon. A week past and they failed to send it. So I called a 2nd time, he said sure I will send it, 2 days later still no show. Made a 3rd attempt, spoke to receptionist and asked her to email it to me. I even verified the correct email address, you guessed it "no show". So I left a 4th message stating that I would stop by in the morning.
This morning the receptionist said she sent my x-ray and that it's probably in my spam folder. Well I mentioned that other emails from you guys Don't go into my spam folder, but let me check it on my phone... Not in my spam folder, no surprise there!!

I asked her can I sign a waiver to have my x-ray sent to another dentist. She proceeded to tell me that they don't send records to other doctors and they don't have a form authorizing my record to be forwarded to another doctor. She stated we have a "new policy" now (which started at the time I entered the office) Wow!!! Really...What happened to Honesty!!!....I wonder what the Board of Dentistry would say about that.

I asked, Can you send it to me? She stated it would take a while. I told her I can wait to make sure I get it..... After receiving it, I decided to get ALL my records.

I had intended to visit them for other dental work, but they blew that... I will NEVER visit or recommend this place. Spend your $ somewhere else where Professionalism and Honesty is a High Priority!!!!

I love this dental office, all the staffs are very nice , the work done excellent job . I really satisfied and would like to recommend to my family and friends to go there .

They charged my insurance multiple x-rays fees. This is dishonest because during my visit, they told me that the x-rays they took were only for their internal use, and that no x-rays would be charged to me or my Insurnace.

I came in for a simple re-cement for my recent new crown. The doctor pushed to do a new crown with her. I left and went to another dentist.

After waiting one month with a temporary crown in my mouth I learn that I have to wait 20 more days to get the treatment the annoying lady on the office said the dentist had an emergency and had to leave early I was in a vacation and the number that calls appeared as suplam j msd something how do I now that it was not a scam call instead of apologizing to me the front office lady started to talk loudly and no respect at all I really hate it that for almost 2 months I am waiting with a temporary crown in short( avoid this place if you don't want unpredictable office that can change your schedule without making you know) AFTER 6 MONTHS THIS COMPANY PUT MY NAME UNDER COLLECTION FOR THE MONEY I ALREADY PAID I CALLED THEM THEY SAID I DONT SEE ANY BALANCE AND THE DEBT COLLECTOR COMPANY SEND ME A BILL SAYS I OWE 436$ BUT I PAID EVERYTHING THIS DENTIST IS A JOKE IF YOU WANT SOME ADVANTURE IN YOUR LIFE THIS IS A GOOD PLACE.

I found this dentist through my insurance provider, they had decent reviews, the facilty looked nice, there was a diverse set of doctors etc...This place seemed to check all the right boxes to me, however I was highly disappointed during my visit. First of all, when I called to tell them I was here for my appointment (COVID Procedure) they immediately put me on hold for nearly 10 mins. (Strike 1) Once I was checked in i sat in the waiting room. How long do you think you should wait to be seen for your scheduled appointment? 5 mins? 10 mins? 20 mins? (Strike 2) I was waiting for 20 minutes for a SCHEDULED appointment. No updates, no communication about what was going on. (Strike 3) I ended up leaving before my "appointment." Do NOT go here. They will absolutely waste your time. Go somewhere/anywhere else and get better service.

TERRIBLE STAFF. I agree with the woman's review below, staff DOES NOT CARE. I too was looking for a new dentist and made an appointment for a cleaning later that same day. I show up and waited AN HOUR in an empty lobby. Finally, after questioning the receptionist, I was seen shorty after. Only to find out they had me scheduled for a "limited exam." I wasn't even scheduled for a cleaning like I requested! One woman did seem concerned for all the inconvenience that occured to me, later to find out, she doesn't even work there regually. I would suggest everyone to HUTTO PREMIERE DENTISTRY. Its right down the road. Scheduling two months out is worth it for the great service they provide.

I made 4 attempts over 7 days to just SCHEDULE an appointment. I sent two emails via their contact us tab on the website (received confirmation that they were received), and made two phone calls during business hours and went to voicemail. I left one message and still didn't get a call back. I was impressed by Dr. Tijerina's bio on their webpage and was looking forward to finding a new dentist for my family. Unfortunately, his office staff doesn't seem to be concerned about scheduling new patients. Dr. Tijerina, if you would like to build your practice, you should replace your office staff.

Nice staff but unfortunately had issues with 3 out of 3 appointments either with wrong price info and being over charged and major discomfort after each visit. DO NOT USE THEM

A very caring and professional group all the way from being greeted at front desk, to Xrays, dental assistants, dental endodontis, and the dentist himself! I highly recommend this office for their great atmosphere and "modern" staff.

Staff is great and I really enjoyed the hygienist. She was very nice and professional. Very knowledgeable and gave me a few ideas to better my dental hygiene.
