Dr. Chou is absolutely excellent! He helped me with one wisdom teeth extraction and the implant. It took several steps to finish all the surgeries and procedures. The whole process was very smooth. He explains every step very well, and makes sure I feel comfortable. Also the stuff there are very nice and communicate well. Our family will continue to use Downtown dentist as our dentist.

OK so here is the deal. I am convinced that Dr. Chou is not a Dentist. He is actually a Magician! Most amazing dental visit I've ever had. And I have dental phobia! He pulled a tooth and put in a bone graft. I felt nothing, not even the shots! No pain, no swelling, and get this.. no bleeding! His method used prevented me from needing gauze. I was amazed. Nothing but great things to say about this place. So glad I found a new dentist for life.

Yes I was very pleased with the staff, they treat as a vip, especially During the front receptionist. She took care of my needs. Got me in to see the dentist right away. Dr Chou is an excellent dentist, he showed and instructed me of my procedures. Ok highly recommend this dentist. I give it a high rating of 10 out of 10.

Dr. Chao is amazing. He and his staff are super friendly, and for anyone who has had traumatic experiences at the dentist or a phobia of dentists, he will put you at ease right away. All of my family has been coming to Dr. Chao since he took over the practice from Dr. Richter and I cannot recommend him enough.
Also, don't worry about having to park downtown. You can park in the Grayhound hospitality parking lot (just follow the parking lot's instructions and take a picture). There is also a parking garage next door (the Centro Travis St. Garage not the other one), for that one you get a ticket and take it to the office. Either way, they validate parking up to 5 hours! So you should never have to pay for parking AND even though it's in the heart of downtown, parking is always available.

I've been to several dentists in San Antonio over the past decade and this place is by far my favorite. Dr. Chou is extremely thorough and spent time teaching me things specific to my teeth that I'd never learned. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and always get me in and out in an hour.
