I used to have great experiences here. Dr. Rust is great. A folksy old school dentist. His staff used to be outstanding. Yesterday, however, was not a great visit. The receptionist kept calling my Mr. Firstname. I finally had to tell her that I was Mr. Lastname, and Firstname was, well, my first name.
The hygienist, who I had never seen here before, spent about a third of the time I was with her trying to make small talk, asking probing personal questions that frankly, I didn't want to answer. Besides that, every time she asked me something, all work on cleaning my teeth came to an excruciating halt. Seriously, I was there to get my teeth cleaned, not chit-chat. It caused the cleaning time to be nearly half again longer than it should have been, based on prior cleanings I have had.
