Happy, family-friendly atmosphere. Couldn’t ask for a better hometown dentist!! I get excited when my reminder comes in and it’s my turn to get my pearly whites polished. Everyone is so amazing. They also take care of my son’s orthodontics. And my older son, who has moved to Lake Jackson, still drives back to Sweeny Family Dental for his regular visits. We Love you guys!!

We’re new to Sweeny Family Dental, but they have customers for life! My parents have been going here for years, and my mom recommended them a while back. It’s true that mom really does know best. Dr Funk is knowledgeable and thorough. Both hygienists are gentle and amazing at their jobs. Your teeth will shine when they are done. My husband hasn’t had dental work in a very long while, but he was impressed with how thorough his treatment was from start to finish. He got some wisdom teeth pulled, a root canal, and 2 crowns. All were desperately needed, and everything was done incredibly well start to finish. They don’t pressure you to get work done. I love that we are in the drivers seat. Dr Funk let’s you know the best plan of action, and then let’s you decide how to proceed. It’s refreshing to be able to consider our budget and take care of the biggest problems first, and not be pressured into getting a lot of work done that is out of our range.

I absolutely love this office. Everyone is so nice and the place is very well taken care of. The doctor is great at explaining the procedures he performs. I usually get a little anxious going to the dentist but this is a place that erases your anxiety.

And even after my first visit to go over what I needed I feel so much better about the procedures required. Everyone at Sweeny Family Dental is kind, the office team responds quickly to questions, the office and treating rooms are very clean and Dr. Funk is clear and concise at what is or is not needed for your dental care. The techs are amazing! After a more invasive dental procedure where I had to take medicine to relax me, instead it kicked my rear. After an emergency where my ride had to drive a relative to the Houston VA, a very special lady in the office drove me home. WOW! That is above and beyond the call of duty, and I will be forever grateful! Thanks to you all!

Doctor Funk is an amazing dentist. Always staying on top of new and effective practices. I have had a few dentists here locally (lake jackson) and have not liked any of them. From fillings falling out to impatient doctors leading to painful visits (not letting numbing shot sit long enough, or using enough). I have not had any issues with Doctor funk and have been using him for over 2 years now.

We recently switched dental offices to sweeny family dental for my kids ages 7 and 3 after hearing nothing but great things about them.
My oldest needed a tooth pulled and dr funk did an amazing job! The whole staff was so friendly and made my daughter feel so comfortable. She usually doesn’t like us pulling teeth but she popped up after dr funk pulled it and said “that was quick , I didn’t even feel it. “ she wasn’t scared at all .
