Staff are wonderful folks, Dr Otto made it the best experience I have ever had at a dentist! I live in AZ, but am down here often, so they are my primary dentist. They helped me a couple years ago with an emergency, now this last procedure.......! They are the best!!

I went in last month for my long, overdue, first yearly visit for cleaning and x-rays. Its was my first time to visit this office and also the FIRST time in years that I was not told that I had to have a "deep" cleaning, as I was always told, and "charged" quite a bit in the past from another Dental office. I have had to call and reschedule my next needed appointment and they have been MORE than nice and helpful about it. They are the nicest and easiest people that I have ever worked with. They go out of their way to make sure that you get the care that you need. A+!

Feeling grateful to have found Elite Family Dental. Warm, authentic atmosphere here with staff and docs alike...and they have a sense of humor too but the best part of it all...NO PAIN!!! Had some anxiety since it's been a while since I was at the dentist and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. No more anxiety about trips to the dentist. Thanks!!!

I have had two appointments to date at Elite Family Dental. An evaluation for a pained back molar and a subsequent follow up for a root canal and temporary crown. Tammy and Dr. Cano were really wonderful. My procedure was timely and was very thorough. The same day and the few days since, I've had little to no pain. I have a follow-up in a few weeks for my permanent crown and I'm not at all anxious about it. Each visit from reception to the physician, I was treated well and all my options were explained and estimated for me. I would absolutely recommend Elite Family Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist. I'm glad I listened to all of the great reviews and was also pleased that Elite (formerly Herod Dental) was on the approved physicians list through my insurance.

I have been coming to see Dr. Herod and his staff since he moved to Universal City. I highly recommend Herod Dental Care. The staff is very friendly. Shay is my dental hygienist and she is amazing. I have only had a positive experience since I have been seeing Dr. Herod. He recently began the work for two crowns and a filling, and without me experiencing pain from the numbing process or the procedure. I found him to be very attentive and to work well with his assistant. Melissa has been very helpful at the front desk on any questions I have had for her regarding payment, etc.
Update: Dr. Herod knows what he is doing. He is always very thorough in his examinations and recommends and then delivers the best care. I had a frenulectomy done today, and felt zero discomfort during the procedure; that after only having a basic numbing at my gum line. This took maybe 15 minutes. Dr. Herod and his assistant, Valerie, were just who I needed to get something like this done. Thank you!!
Wholesome Favorite
I'll admit, I was very clear on what I was there for and what I wanted. Everyone I spoke with was very understanding of my situation from the receptionist to Dr Herod. They gave a thorough exam, explained my options and helped me make decisions. So far I am pleased with the service.....(later). Now after the procedure, I am still very pleased. Dr Herod is very fast and thorough. He did an excellent job of numbing the area. It was all well explained to me and took no longer than he had expected. I would definitely recommend him!

I’ve quit two dentist this year alone. These guys were a breath of fresh air. The Hygienist knew his job very well and the staff was pleasant and honest. Very Happy with this Dental Office.
