As someone who has a deep seated issue to avoid dentists. I finally was forced to go back to one for an extraction. Though these aren't "painless", the staff did their absolute best to make myself comfortable through the entire process. Dr. Herod performed the procedure with ample dexterity to cause myself hardly any discomfort. Will see them in the future for my other dental needs.

I absolutely love this dental practice. Heather did my cleaning and was super helpful, she let me know what she did every step of the way so that made me feel comfortable and at ease. I've refereed all my family here. My mom and aunt also had wor don't there and they said they won't go anywhere else!

Had a root canal today. Was very nervous as I had never had one before. All of the staff was very reassuring and put me at ease. The Dr. did a wonderful job and there was hardly any pain. I would recommend Herod Dental Care to anyone!

I recently moved to Texas and needed a Dentist. I had a teeth cleaning and whitening and couldnt be more happier. The staff was very professional and attentive. Just love Dr. Brown!!! So very happy I found Herod Dental Care...l.

Buyer beware. I am not taking this review lightly, but I wanted to let anybody looking for a new dentist to know about my experience at Herod Dental. I recently went there as a new patient for a routine cleaning and exam. My dental insurance was not accepted by my former dentist so I decided to try a new dental office. Herod Dental was easy to schedule with and accepted my insurance. The cleaning was a little more intense than I was used to and the xrays were uncomfortable. I would not have written a negative review for these things as I am sure there are some things you just have to get used to at a new dentist. The negative review comes when the dentist, Joyce Munoz, told me everything she felt needed to be done in my mouth...they wanted to put 3 crowns and 5 fillings in my mouth. This came as a surprise because the hygienist did not mention that she had seen areas of concern when cleaning my teeth (perhaps only a chipped filling). I was so shocked by this that I scheduled a second opinion with my former dentist the following day. My former dentist took xrays and did a thorough exam of my teeth. She looked at each of the recommendations that Joyce Munoz stated and found ZERO issues with my teeth. There were no cavities, faulty fillings, or crowns that were needed at this time. If you go to Herod Dental as a new patient, just be aware that they may recommend things that are not necessary or may simply be cosmetic. I worry about those that may be duped by this dentist office. I will pay cash and return to my former dentist.
Amended: Dr. Munoz is no longer employed by this dental office. Dr. Herod has contacted me and expressed an interest to reevaluate my teeth. He has also said he did not agree with all of Dr. Munoz's recommendations but did state he saw some problems that need to be addressed. I appreciate that concern but do not wish to return. However, I have no doubt that if I had seen Dr. Herod (especially based on other reviews), I would have had a different experience with this dental office.
