I have been going to this place for a few years but this past visit will be my last, as will it for the rest of my family. Last appointment, I was told that my insurance would cover it all and I would have to pay out-of-pocket less than $30 which was fine, only to get the bill and now I have to pay well over $250.
This is not the first time I've been lied to about cost by these people, and I am not the only one, it seems. And with every visit, despite telling them of pains and issues, and being told my teeth are fine, I end up feeling pains and sensitivity afterwards; I thought a dentist was supposed to help me with my teeth?
My hygienist was lovely and the staff were nice, but the way business is carried out does these people a massive disservice.
No place should out and out LIE about costs, especially when most people don't have good dental insurance, or any at all. I am sick of being lied to and spending money towards people who would rather be dishonest and lackluster, when I can spend a little more gas and find somewhere that cares about their patients.
And no, a "We're so sorry for your experience" reply will Not change what's happened to me and others. Fix your practice.

My wife had her first appointment today with Dr Novak and had a very positive experience. She said that the staff and doctor were kind, efficient and professional. We will definitely be returning to Dr Novak’s office for our future dental needs.
