Dr. Perez is one of the best dentists I have ever been to. He actively listens to his patients, explains things thoroughly, and adequately addresses all concerns. He never appears to be rushed, wait time is very minimal, and the office is clean and up to date. I was able to get a next day appointment for fillings and the prices were fair. He understands the bureaucracy of insurance and its limitations in coverage and was willing to work with me in that regard. His staff are helpful, friendly, kind, professional and very knowledgeable. His anesthetic injection techniques are amazing and I didn't feel a thing. He is a family-oriented man with integrity and professionalism who strives for excellence which is evident by his work. I am very happy to have found Dr. Perez and his amazing staff. There is a wait time for cleanings, but they have frequent cancelations and I was able to get a cleaning the same day as my fillings. As a medical professional myself, I can attest that most of the medical field still struggles with longer wait times for almost any service due to being backlogged from Covid-19. However, I am confident that with time this will no longer be the case. Thank you again, Stone Lake Dental!

On Christmas day, my permanent retainer broke and the wire was poking my tongue causing pain. I called for an emergency appointment to get help with this issue. Dr. Perez came in during the Christmas office closure and put some more of the dental glue on to secure the wire. A month and a half later the glue detached from my teeth, but not the wire. I had a cleaning appointment the next week but since I was having trouble eating and pain, I called and they were able to get me in the next day. They called twice after scheduling my appointment to offer me a sooner time due to cancellations.
I went in and explained very clearly to Dr. Balogh that the device was causing pain in my other teeth, causing discoloration of my teeth, and at this point i asked for it to be removed. Without talking to me she started working in my mouth. I thought she was removing the device as I asked her. The steps seemed wrong, but I couldnt talk given the work being done in my mouth. When she finished, she had reattached the wire.
I was mad. I explained exactly what I wanted done clearly. She did not have any conversation with me so that I could participate and make an educated decision in my own care. After voicing my displeasure she said that she could do it but that the teeth might move after the retainer was removed. The only thing she mentioned before agreeing she could do what I asked.
Afterwards I get to the front desk and they tell me my insurance wont cover what they did, because they won’t bill for any orthodontic work. No one told me that it was something I should go to an orthodontist for. (It has been over a decade and several relocations since I have seen an orthodontist, my mistake not knowing that.) Not only that, but when I got the bill it was marked as an emergency appointment, because it was booked the day before. No one talked to me about anything.

Dr. Perez is an excellent dentist who truly cares about his patients, their well being and their over all health and life goals. He always has a kind smile and wonderful outlook on life. Every time I have an appointment, I feel like I always leave a little more wiser for it. Janet is just as incredible - always has a pleasant demeanor, remembering the small things about my family and work, and gives me the BEST, most thorough cleaning for my teeth. I wholeheartedly recommend Stone Lake Dental / Dr. Perez / Janet!

Huge rave to Dr. Perez and Freedom! I am a special needs patient and they took great care of me today for my filing. I'm 85% hearing impaired and also have had a horrible dental experience that was very painful. I eventually found a dentist that was extremely kind and gentle but he retired. My medical doctor highly suggested Dr. Perez but I was a nervous wreck anticipating today's procedure. He numbed me with a topical first and proceeded very slowly with both injections. He wasn't lying when he said I'd only feel a short sting in my pallet. It was very tolerable! I have alot of work to do, mainly implants, and I'm excited to say that my only issue now is doing work as I can afford it rather then stress and putting it off. Thank you all so much, including the ladies up front who are always kind and helpful :) I'm happy to have a dentist again.

Lindsey has been our dental hygienist for 20 years and she is excellent at her profession. My two teenagers and I look forward to having our teeth cleaned. I would highly recommend Stone Lake Dental.

Amazing atmosphere! Immediately they make you feel welcome. Always greeted with a smile and laughter at this office. The receptionists are thorough and keep you informed and are always prompt in returning calls. Ease of getting an appointment is a plus. Lyndie and Dr Perez are phenomenal. My family and I have been with this office for more than 20 years and we won't go anywhere else. I also had bad experiences with other dentists in the past that it has caused anxiety every time I go see one for checkups or issues, but Dr. perez always does an amazing job in fixing any issue. I had a horrible tooth infection and the pain was excruciating. I was amazed to found out I had absolutely zero pain even after the numbing gel wore off and the pain just all vanished!
